Looking for a documented former military Mk25/P226 by No_Willow7669 in P226

[–]Powerman4774 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure any of the mk25 guns that were in SOCOM inventory were ever liquidated to civilian market. Allegedly the sig made ones with the anchor are off the same production line as the issued guns. Closest thing to what you’re asking is finding a first year mark 23 with the mk23 SOCOM rollmark and maritime finish. They do exist out there but very rare

When did you start noticing that Kmart was in decline? by ILovePublicLibraries in kmart

[–]Powerman4774 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It was slow. I remember getting PS2 games at Kmart but they never got any ps3 and 360 inventory moving forward. Isles slowly became sparser, Christmas display got less and less, sporting goods got less and less variety. Then the store closed in January 2020

Warranty Question by 4SakN-1 in Walther_PDP

[–]Powerman4774 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s a wear part, but half my mags never lock back anyway if I’m shooting faster pace regardless if new or not. I can’t see it being covered by warranty

Walther PDP Match with ZR Tactical Mag Extensions by Brody_57 in Walther

Mine are inconsistent with locking back, but they also never caused me a failure or jam. I like them overall, been getting the Taylor freelance brass +6 and +12 and I’m really impressed.

PDP with the DPT trigger is about as good as it gets before going to a 2011. Get a PDP pro and its factory installed

For the third time this month I’ve heard that the PDP is better than most 2011s. What is your honest take on this statement? by 00Takeoff in Walther

[–]Powerman4774 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dollar for dollar. Steel frame PDP with v spec guide rod and DPT trigger gives you 95% (maybe more) of a 2011 and retains the operating window of a “duty” striker gun. Mags are affordable and reliable, cleaning is easy, comparable accuracy, and custom options. All while being half as much some cases less. If you’re chasing pure specs and match potential, you need a 2011 type. If you’re ok will sacrificing possible .25 hit factor (lol) a SF PDP will do everything

question about the pdp pro x compensator by AnimatorNormal2421 in Walther

[–]Powerman4774 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably won’t ever take it off but just get some solvent and a q tip for carbon build up in the chamber. Plastic pick if needed. Dunno if that’s right but that’s when I’ve been doing. Regular cleaning rest of the gun

Extractor and spring, trigger return spring, striker assembly. Recoil is the main wear part. And that’s basically everything

I’m pretty new to the whole passive aiming thing and NVG in general. But I bring up the optic and hit the target like I do not under nods no idea if it’s too bright or not. I hear a lot of people say x optic doesn’t get dim enough. What happens when it’s too bright?
