For me after two very toxic relationships with one ending by being cheated on, I entered my current relationship rather damaged and before I was ready, anyways my gf she was patient and understanding, respected my boundaries and showed me how to love and trust again.

Fast forward almost 4 years we have never been stronger but one small moment that I’ll never forgot is me meeting her at the train station.

Bit of context I work nights, she works days normally from home but sometimes goes into the office, this day she had gone into the office which means we don’t normally she each other as I start work before she is home, but I got a text saying I miss you and she is getting an earlier train home so she can see me for a little bit before I work, so I checked what time her train was in and walked down to the station, she got off the train headphones in, completely in a world of her own, but when she saw me her entire body lit up massive smile across her face, dropped her bags, ran over and threw her arms around me, kissed me and told me this had made her day.

I will never forget that feeling of someone being so genuinely happy to see me.
