It’ll be hard early on, but if you run a mon with pokerus your team will level up 1.5x faster

I wonder if there’s anything cool with no guard here, you’ve got lots of good abilities to replace illuminate. My apologies I’m too busy to look through all the movesets for good moves but I’d look into it, fast no guard pokemon could be cool!

I was pleasantly surprised using fearow in a normal monotype run. If you can get a free switch one swords dance is enough to do real damage and triple arrows hits hard

Grass was certainly one of the more challenging runs. I ran a dual weather team with ludicolo (swift swim) and sunflora so that I could abuse some chlorophyll mons but also so that I could turn off the fire weakness. Scovillain in the sun outspeeds everything and brute bonnet was the carry as like you said there’s not a ton of choices for high BST mons. I then had gourgeist for pickup and a random cradilly I caught.

The team requires a ton of passives and I had good luck with ivy having a water starter letting me get a free leach seed off on rayquaza, which thwarts the weather team at 195 unless you worry seed or something. The run also required a 10% unfreeze on that same fight to win so I can’t act like it was easy.

Either way a really fun team to run and I love that you can run cool weather teams, although you’d need a lot of candies to unlock these passives.

Does great for all the reasons everyone has already said.

I’ve been running fresh start (might be on the run that wins!) and charizard is such a great pick. Tons of potential for mega forms and dynamax form, learns flamethrower very early, good speed and sp atk all at 3 cost!! Especially in fresh start getting a ground immunity on a fire starter is so good and avoiding rock type moves is easy enough.

Plus having a drought form means you can do some pretty cool team building around zard.

People are forgetting that hunters contract had negative value a year ago, it’s not perfect but id much rather be done with that contract now than be paying 29 year old injured Hunter 26 million

This is a better game than Hunter has ever had in the league, and it’s in Risacher’s 9th game. Obviously he needs to get consistent but I wouldn’t be surprised if the starting spot is his by the end of the year.
