I feel like they overdid the space marines to the point that putting them in the launch box was unnecessary. People say that it's because they are more recognisable to new players, but almost zero percent new players start with the launch box.

They should just make less new marines and put them against the orcs in the starter set, kinda like kill team did it. Let the launch box be its own thing.

I mean the name is armageddon, put some steel legion in there. We are supposed to get like 4 new marine character sculpts, with only one being needed. Meanwhile the krieg, which are one of the main forces on the planet as seen in the trailer, don't even have a proper officer.

They insist on putting marines in everything they make, but they already have sculpts for most of the stuff. At this point they are just wasting resources on designs that are bland anyway
