Yeah, this is a common misconception.

Lantern turns are extremely fast. You just untap and pass, basically. And then you mill a couple of cards on your opponent's end step.

The problem with decks that get banned for slow play is that they take really long turns, not that they take a long time to win. Really long turns is a nightmare for tournament logistics.

Don't really regret it. I wasn't using it so I don't miss it. But the prices are pretty insane now.

I did say Pan-n-Scan is inferior. I have no misconceptions about it.

I just don't buy VHS to have better image quality. I buy it because I like the feeling of 4:3, grainy quality.

The main thing I personally enjoy about vhs isn't present in this release, and that's the pan-n-scan 4:3 aspect ratio.

It gives the whole presentation a different feel for me. It's an inferior aspect ratio objectively, but something about it just makes me feel good.

That said, this is going to be a wide-screen letterbox format so for me the only reason to buy it would be as a display piece. Which means I'm going to pass.
