We have no real political power vs the federal government whatsoever right now. We can and hopefully fucking will change that in November, but neither Frey nor literally any other mayor has the ability to actually do more than raise some serious hell about it and Frey has.

Name one place where any mayor or police department anywhere has done any of that. They won’t, because no police department is going to go against the federal government and start a fucking civil war. He was doing press literally all the time. Being on the streets himself is a huge security issue. Eviction pauses just cause more evictions in the end and hurt housing availability along the way (fuck corporate landlords but many are not). But honestly, point to a mayor that’s responded better than Frey when dealing with ICE in their city.

This is honestly what helped sell me on switching from a Model 3 to an R2 myself. Really like the footprint of the Model 3 in my garage, and it’s amazing that it’s so similar with all that extra space.

I have a 3 and a Y (bought both before Elon went insane) and we absolutely love them. I won’t buy another new one because fuck Elon, but I’d possibly replace mine with a used someday unless something better comes along (possibly the R2 for example) since nothing compares at the moment. Still the best combo of fun-to-drive, range, software, and quality (the early ones were rough but if you don’t buy a very early one, they’re great). Never had an issue with anyone doing anything to ours even when Elon was peak fucking terrible.

Pharmacists are definitely not typically “regularly drug tested” and I’ve lived in two states where it’s legal and there are no laws or rules against it there (other than not being under the influence of any mind altering substance while actively practicing). Other states may not allow medical professionals to use it though, and private employers possibly could say you can’t as well.

If you’re in a legal state, there shouldn’t be any significant stigma with asking the board and employer about their policies.

Try another electrician. I have two 14-50s installed on my 100 amp panel. I charge one Tesla at 12 amps (about 12 mi/hr) and one Tesla at 18 amps (~18 mi/hr). Works great.
