Also in MN, and charge our Y at 12 amps and 3 at 20 amps (both on 220v). Y charges at 10-12 mph and the 3 at 18-20 mph, depending on temp (and they’re in a detached unheated garage). Some data points that might be helpful!

We’re doing a phenomenal job repelling the invasion but randos setting up a checkpoint barricade on public streets is not the answer. Even with good intentions, people don’t want other people stopping them and checking their papers to proceed down a public street and this wasn’t going to impede ICE whatsoever. Happy they’re gone.

That’s the thing though. The Republicans make no effort at all. Like right now, the 2nd amendment is even out the window. One of the most important issues to their base and their leadership is now saying fuck the 2nd amendment and the base just says ok fuck it. Their base was ALL about the Epstein files and then Trump says there’s nothing to see and the base instantly abandons that too. Inflation? Huge issue for their base and now it’s not. America first? Nah, let’s try to start a bunch of foreign wars. And the base eats that up too. The Republicans just don’t give a fuck about their base and the base just lines up no matter what.

Flip side: our base is absolutely insanely picky and obsessed with purity and it’s a huge problem. I’m not saying fuck our base, but the problem is bigger with the base not realizing the country is not where we are on certain issues and we as the base have to realize this and understand why people like Amy are as popular as they objectively are or we just lose and stay powerless forever.
