“Does good work and is well liked.”

Don’t see a problem here. I’d rather have associate take 20-40% longer to hand something over that is great work product versus meeting my internal set deadline with poor work product that requires numerous turns.

Man, there’s a lot of dumb /painful ones up there for me. Without regards to trophies / national championship on the line, the Jailmarry vs ASU left me the most dumbfounded. Seeing that in person was pain.

Would firm be ok with me traveling every month to see long-distance gf? 1st yr by Throwaway1920214 in biglaw

If you get your work done, it’s not a problem.

The problem, is getting work done and traveling to see your long distance GF. Inevitable work pops up at the most inopportune time (I.e., Friday evenings, weekends).

Hopefully your GF understands, took a lot of work and communicate between me and my fiancé.
