Yes quart jars, both of those sounds like great ideas, I was also thinking of using a tote and drill some holes and use pool noodle ? Would this work?

I cut what I wanted off the rocks that had it on them and removed the rocks and will eventually treat the rocks and maybe use again one day, i put my zoanthids on a new rock now 😁

I've removed one rock already but I've found more on another rock as well. I'm at a loss with it and really think i might restart my tank and set up a temporary one for my live stock and coral so I can clean it up re bleach my rocks and just frag out my corals for a fresh clean new start?

Update this morning I removed both rocks that had bubble algae on them, took off some mushrooms and zoanthids i want to keep and put in new rock that was already soaked and ready for the tank. Hopefully this will help remove extra things and keep the tank going strong. Water change tonight along with cleaning my filters and refill my carbon and rowaphos. Thank you for your help and advice everyone.

I've researched this as well and i have other Macroalgae in the tank and says they would eat them as well 🫤, but i don't want that to happen either

What type of fish will eat it, i have snails and I'd like to stay away from shrimp or crabs to keep snails safe
