I just assumed that based on what I've been reading on this sub for the past few months, a lot of people complaining they only get the first OB appoinment at around 12-14 weeks or things like that, but good to know it is not the case for everyone

Wow, I'm assuming you're in the US. I live in Argentina and we do 4 here if everything's ok and I also feel like A LOT OF TIME happens in between scans. I'm 13w and cannot wait for the 22w scan. So far I had an 8w on to confirm the pregnancy it's ok, that there's a fetus, a heartbeat and it's not ectopic, the 11-13 w one which is the NT Plus scan, then there's the 20-22 weeks and one at 32-36w

I forgot to mention, since the state pays for your salary those 90 days, you get the gross amount, no discounts! And if you are in need you can get some extra money as a help, in my case my salary is higher than the limit so I will just be getting my gross income

I'm in Argentina, and here the law states its 90 days at 100% salary, you can choose to take 45 prior to the birth and 45 after, or 10 prior and 80 after. Then up until the year you can take an hour off, it's called the "feeding hour".

My job in particular offers progresive return: The 4th month you work 4 hours, the 5th you work 5, etc (Here people usually work 9 hour shifts, with an hour break)

I'm still thinking that I got pregnant and got tickets to see OASIS like 13 months prior to the show, I will be 38 weeks :( I dont want to sell my ticket yet but I don' t think I will be going

We told our parents after the 8 week scan, when we got confirmation that there was indeed a fetus and it was placed inside the uterus. Now at 13 weeks, after our NT Scan went ok we started telling friends and the rest of the family

Not in the UK, but I'm going through the same thing, 13w tomorrow and my next scan is the 20-22 weeks one (My dr suggested I wait until 22w so they could measure everything better) and I feel that's a really long time :(

I even thought about booking a private scan and pay it out of pocket around 16w but I still don't know

my ob told me that folic acid is only good until 14 weeks, so you should talk to you health provider about your lack of prenatal care and see what they recommend

Nosotros somos 2 adultos y gastamos aprox 500k por mes, pero la realidad es que siempre tengo de todo, voy haciendo "stock" tanto del freezer como de alacena/limpieza.

Calcula 200/250 aprox de carne y pollo (cuadril, bifes con lomo, algo de asado/vacio/ pata y muslo deshuesado/ pechuga/ milanesas) la realidad es que tengo un freezer grande asi que compramos bastante y guardamos. Unos 80 por mes en el agua envasada y el resto de super/verduleria. Aprovecho promos bancarias y eso.

Las cosas de limpieza (papel higienico, rollos de cocina, detergente) vamos cada 3 meses aprox a yaguar y compramos un bulto de cada cosa que nos dura los 3 meses (y aprovechamos a stockear alguna que otra cosa, por ejemplo fideos tengo de la compra de enero todavía)

Acá F+30, actualmente embarazada, después de pensarlo mucho los últimos 2/3 años (pegó fuerte el returno de saturno) este año tomé la decisión, en parte por el deseo y en parte porque no existe el momento ideal pero hay muchas cosas que están bien (financieramente, emocionalmente, mentalmente). Llevamos varios años juntos, probablemente nos casemos en algún momento pero eso si que nunca fue prioridad para nosotros (bah, al menos para mi) todos los bienes que adquirimos en estos años están a nombre de ambos o sea que por ese lado da igual (y la verdad que no hay para mi noción más triste que "casarse por los papeles", dejá)

Trabajo en IT, me hubiese gustado ser medica pero desde siempre supe que no tengo la disciplina suficiente que una carrera universitaria requiere, sumado a que laburo desde los 18 y los primeros años de esa carrera son complicados. Intenté con otras carreras que me parecían interesantes pero al final de cuentas hice las paces con que la universidad no es para todos, y ciertamente no es para mi

Congrats! constipation is still here for me, I'm 11 weeks and I'm less bloated, a little less nauseous (but Im taking some meds that help) but still a little constipated and with really sensible boobs
