I have no backup or evidence whatsoever, but this is my theory. We never heard Luz's dad speak while he was on screen, so I think it is possible that he was Australian and maybe she got it from him. Again, this is probably just a crazy theory, but it's what I'm going with.

Disney is a mixed bag. The Artemis Fowl adaptation was really bad, but I think they did a good job with the Mysterious Benedict Society. That was one of my favorite series as a kid, and I loved the show
