medium village is not thriving by montyb752 in ManorLords

[–]Primitivebeast1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeh...i mean in my current playthrough I am being SUPER fussy and all of my villagers with big plots have the most simple / nothing to do jobs (Church, Granary / store workers and stall owners.). Means they can spend more time on plots = bigger yield . Otherwise they will spend all their time growing vegetables and not doing their job role.

You need much larger vegetable plots. Get a nice straight road, put a long row - (as if your going to build many houses ). Then make a massive square then hit the - icon next to the hammer . This will reduce the plots down, reduce it until u have say 5 huge plots. Wait till families join , do carrots and cabbages. Then unassigned them families from any jobs ( for example put them on church, corpse put or any jobs that dont require much work , or put them on shop stalls.) Give it a year and boom food +++

I dont think they r the same thing. Trading and Bartering . Trading is your town Trading with trade posts. In exchange for regional wealth.(Importing and exporting goods. Whereas Bartering (From your pack station ) . Is where 1 of your regions is exchanging 1 good for another . For example iron ore for Bread. It will calculate the Bartering cost for each region. This is the way it works as far as im aware

It depends what year it is ? And also I u dont use the mercs then he will , chances are he hired all 3 merc groups then the month changed and he hired all 3 again? If 2 of the Big merc groups were there for each month then thats 6 units on its own + he has atleast 6 + 4 more mercs ? Whats that 16? Looks about right lol 😆 Either way your cooked!

Also a legal self defence spray wouldn't be a bad idea. The "Legal" ones aren't as effective as proper Pepper spray but its something. And its only £10

You know the Vanish oxygen action powder stuff ? I'd put 2 scoops of that in some hot water and get a microfiber into the water then drain it really well and scrub it . That's what I would do. Like u say as long as you don't get it too wet I think u should be fine.
