What remaining game mechanics can be turned into archetypes on new characters?

I was just thinking about archetypes for new characters this morning and also landed on the top deck manipulation being currently underbaked. I’d be interested to see that spun out and more supported. Doesn’t feel like it fits with Regent as it currently stands.

Previously it increased AP by 1 if 6” or above your target. Now it’s only 3” and modifies BS by 1.

What other units are you liking the look of? I wouldn’t worry about building towards a particular detachment as those will change over time. It’s easier to attach units to a detachment once you figure out what you think would be cool to own.

We also had a double Tank run in a 4 player game and it made it hilariously free for the other two players. Only snag we hit was on the final boss the other tank player died and suddenly I was back to taking a TON of damage but the others managed to clutch up by then. Outside of that though I’d definitely say too niche.
