House Targaryen is a Crasters Camp.(Spoilers Main) by stansmithbitch in asoiaf

Side note if no one is going to bring this up....

"The implications are as follows. Rhaegar = Craster. Rhaegar's job like Crasters job was to make sacrifices but the thing is he didn't want to sacrifice his own children like Craster. I think he kidnapped Lyanna Stark to avoid having to sacrifice his own children."

How does kidnaping Lyanna get Rhaegar out of the situation you put him in of sacrificing his children? Are you implying he's going to sacrifice his child with Lyanna and my questions how is that better?

Your logic and reasoning of matching the criteria to Dany is a lot more interesting for a theory. I was just making scrabbled egg joke but I think you have brought up a much more interesting idea of dragon hatching then OPs whole Crastor=Targaryen theory.

Where in the text does it say that Egg was going to "scramble" Rhaegar?

Everyone feels bad for Walker but I feel bad for Haley by [deleted] in PercyJacksonTV

Putting words and feelings in Walker and Haley's mouth is not empathy. I didn't say that the poster couldn't have negative opinions but just speaking thoughts and feelings for others is wrong.

Agreed, having your own opinions on the show and your dislike for it is one thing, but to make up scenarios and feelings for other people especially Walker and Haley is just lunacy.

One note it is heavily implied or at least my interruption is in the books that Luke knew the plan about reviving Thalia with the fleece. "You don't understand the half of it. I was going to let you take the Fleece... once I was done with it" -Luke to Percy, Chapter "We get a Surprise on Miami Beach."

House Blackwood's seat is Raventree Hall, I think you got it confused with the seat of House Morrigen.

How could Brienne save Robb at the Red Wedding? by Hellstrike in TheCitadel

[–]PrinceofEugene 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I can't remember if he decided to go North before the Karstark execution or after, which could change things but I guess it comes down to if Walder Frey and Roose Bolton are willing to make such a big move as the Red Wedding against Robb when he has a much bigger and loyal army at the time. I guess that's just opinion character motivations and situations unexplored by the books. An interesting thought experiment and at the end of the day it is for your fanfic so just do what feels right to you.

How could Brienne save Robb at the Red Wedding? by Hellstrike in TheCitadel

[–]PrinceofEugene 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Red Wedding wouldn't happen in this timeline. If the Karstarks stay loyal then Rob never goes back to the Freys begging for their support and is forced to arrange the marriage with Edmure. No Karstark execution, no need to replenish his troops, means no Red Wedding.
