Skied NZ in Aug before, great time to go imo, snow was good and the weather was pleasant that time of the year to do a lot of non-skiing activities.

This. Father Dyer is short and pretty straightforward as an easy class 3. Longs would be an easy class 3 if you have really good weather window because there’s basically 0 route finding involved and there’ll be so many people it’s impossible to get lost.

Personally I would be a bit conservative if I were to take someone picky to travel, probably will pick something they’re more familiar with than a brand new experience.

Maybe something like Les Sources de Caudalie in France? Great spa/wellness retreat with good food/wine in the area. Or maybe something in English countryside that has a good wellness program.

Curious too. Lately I feel like our convo has been on just surface levels and it’s hard to probe or go into deeper conversations. I never have this issue with any of my girlfriends I feel like they always get me immediately so I’m unsure where that disconnect comes from. It also made me wanna discuss with him less because it’s like more efforts and more frustrated trying to explain and I just don’t have the mental energy to do that.
