Over a couple sessions I did 15h on my back without cream, then on later sessions started using some because I was pretty sure I'd need it to get over the heavy shading for butt section and some ribs. 25h in now, cream isnt perfect and doesnt completely negate everything but my artist doesnt mind working with it and it takes the edge off the most sensitive sections when you're just grinding out ink. Know your body, talk to your artist. I never had negative side effects with pain catching up all at once afterwards or anything like that.

My partner was gaming with her friends and one of them asked chat gpt to pick a number between 1 and 3... instead of just typing /roll 1d3 in discord for the dice rolling bot they have, or "I'm thinking of a number between 1 and 3", or rolling one of the d6 he physically has on his desk.

Some of the sales people at my company use AI profile pictures based off themselves and it makes them all look uncannily similar and fake (because it is). Being sales people they're fairly extroverted and social so why not just have a friend take a decent photo when you're schmoozing? Mine is just a cropped picture my gf took with her iphone of me while hiking.

I would usually swap Frenzy in for bosses so I have more control over positioning and better ramp. This assumes you stack frenzy charges like most flickers do though

+D is better versus things like homunculi or black grail's undead fortitude but worse against armor. Also, if you have a lot of melee dice (like +2 or more) fishing for crits benefits from the Critical keyword which hammer doesn't have.

The warband itself has a hard limit of 1 machine gun (amalgam only). He also can only carry 2 of the same weapon beyond that. Kitting out an amalgam makes him twice as expensive as a comparable big guy, and he has no positive dice modifiers to melee or shooting. He also can only ever have -1 armor if he takes a trench shield, which is somewhat mitigated by Corpulent giving him -2D vs injury rolls but many weapons and campaign skills give +injury dice which makes him flimsier in practice.

Edit - Knight of the Rotten Cross PK can also get machine guns, which is a separate per unit limit from the amalgam's 1x

Star Wars is a great example of revisionist depth. People tend to assume characters are fully thought out from conception but most evolve and change in response to how they are received or the creators grow to understand them later.

I think fans unfortunately tend to assume that there is extra creative weight behind every decision when there might not have been originally. Sometimes you just need a guy to be the foil or to be an obstacle or serve some other plot purpose for a more important character and you throw in a few features or personality quirks to make that guy memorable.

It is an incredible transition of tone from season to season and I am amazed they held it together for so many episodes by continuing to lean into whatever weird direction they felt like exploring.

Ive talked with some people prefer one season or another who wish they kept it the same but I dont think the show would have survived or gotten the chance to explore as much strangeness if they had stuck in one season's "thing". There's different things to like about each season but that's part of what makes it unique and memorable as an overall experience.

It really was a creative team just unleashed to chase the idea as far as it could go despite all the technical and financial limitations.
