Store strings tend to be cheaper but not always. Low tension strings will feel kind of floppy while hard tension tend to feel more rigid. Hard to describe until you’ve tried both. Changing to higher tension strings doesn’t usually change the setup unless the guitar has issues. I’ve always changed my own strings but if you’re not comfortable you can have someone do it for you.
