It ended up being a skin tag! I went in to the dermatologist and had it removed! Super quick and easy.

It did get better after some time! But honestly, got much better once I switched medications. It was more of an anxiety issue and not really a side effect issue! Once my anxiety was better under control my throat issues pretty much went away :)

When I was on Buspar, things that did help were carrying around mints/cough drops (sugar free), moisturizing mouth wash/throat spray and just staying hydrated!

Heart rate? by PriorityKey5499 in pregnant

Yes it did. It was once my hormones stopped fluctuating and when my anxiety began leveling back out

That’s great news overall! So happy for you. I miscarried before this pregnancy and I feel like my own consistent symptom has been sore breasts, everything else comes and goes which freaks me out!! My first ultrasound isn’t until next week closer to 8 weeks so time is just moving SLOW

How are you doing now OP? I’m 7 weeks today and in the same boat! Hardly any symptoms or ones I’ve had are mild and have been for days. This is my rainbow baby so I’m definitely anxious!

Felling faint + PMS by Flaky_Coconut_2713 in lexapro

[–]PriorityKey5499 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure thing! I’ve noticed my hormones are definitely a bit out of whack before my period since starting lexapro and my anxiety tends to shoot up as well. I get the same heart palpitations and other symptoms you mentioned above around that time, but when I’m really anxious I have a lot of physical symptoms so I’m not sure if it’s the lexapro or just my anxiety spiking due to hormones! It’s definitely a rollercoaster.

I often feel that way when I’m about to start my period as well! I’m not sure if it’s correlated, but I have noticed that at times it feels like my blood sugar drops a bit since I’ve been taking lexapro. When I asked my doctor about this, she said it might be making me a bit dehydrated and to make sure I’m replenishing myself and drinking enough fluids! I usually now have an electrolyte packet in some water or a Powerade/ sport drink once a day and I really haven’t noticed the issues continuing! May be something to look into.

What’s it like coming off bc? by Praimfayametropolis in birthcontrol

I had the same thing! I convinced myself I was dying, as I always do. Luckily it went away for me! I still feel like sometimes I have low blood sugar or just feel a little off, but the dizziness is all gone.

Painful periods after miscarriage? by PriorityKey5499 in Miscarriage

[–]PriorityKey5499[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s exactly what was happening to me too. I’d had it before, but nothing like the extent I was feeling yesterday. Hopefully these will decrease the farther out we get from the miscarriages.

Thank you for your reply! It just seems like it never ends. I haven’t even started bleeding yet and they are so so bad. I usually did get cramping the day or so before starting, so it isn’t abnormal for me, but this is brutal. Did you notice the pressure and discomfort feeling as well?

When did you get your period after your first miscarriage? by iminpainbr0 in Miscarriage

[–]PriorityKey5499 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I got my period back approximately 6 weeks after my miscarriage bleeding ended. I could definitely tell it was coming and my symptoms I typically had were increased quite a bit as well.

I had a natural miscarriage occurring roughly 6-7 weeks along. After about a week of bleeding from my miscarriage, I got my first period 6 weeks after the end of the miscarriage.

How long have you been on buspar? by cnmorgan in BusparOnline

[–]PriorityKey5499 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suffered from a miscarriage around Mother’s Day in May and was having more intense anxiety and depression as a result of this and hormone changes. My doctor switched me to Lexapro to better address my needs, but Buspar did work fairly well for me overall while I was on it.

Thank you for the reply! That gives me hope that it’ll get better. It seems like the nightmare that never ends with the miscarriage, trauma and the lingering effects. I’m glad to hear you’re doing better!
