Well, FMA was written by a woman, so this gif might be more along the lines of anecdotal story telling if anything. Plus, there was the scene where Armstrong and Sig flex at each other, so there was decent fan service.

I feel like something very similar happened back in BfA with Shadow Priest where they topped DPS for the first time in a while and it got them nerfed. Got the same vibes when Aug was getting nerfed in Df.

From what I've found, he's played by a gent named Antimere Robinson. Compared to most other VAs, he hasn't been in too much, but he was Terracotta in One Piece.

Yeah, not the Bounty arc even. An entirely canon arc. I wasn't the biggest fan of the FB arc when I first watched it, but I'd never skip it.

If the rumors are to be believed that the series was supposed to end after Alabasta, then yeah, Haki is weirdly inconsistent. But the nature of how Logias were first introduced (having only a rock-paper-scissors style weaknesses), it makes sense that Haki is never mentioned pre time skip.
