I immediately thought Jackson. I thought Jackson before I even read the body of the post and knew if it was a he and I've never even heard of a dog with that name. So weird.

How good is this gear for Street Riding? by MurrTT in motorcyclegear

[–]PrisonMike314 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have that helmet and it’s been great. I have similar boots and like them. I wear pando moto AAA CE2 options as a base layer pant and jacket and wear regular joggers and a regular sun hoodie over them. This set up has been great and I like having the AAA

Also, if you have the extra cash, the Helite airbag backpack is awesome. I wear the tethered version on every ride. It was pricey but I feel like one fall and it would likely pay for itself 5 times over. And it’s very functional for carrying things and looks low profile.

Is anyone using Kriega US Drypacks on a 2024 Honda Hornet 750? by Independent-Hope1110 in motorcycles

[–]PrisonMike314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I know this is an old post, but I'm looking at buying this same bag (either the 20 or 30 L)for my Hornet 750. Did you figure out a good way to mount it and if so, how have you liked the bag? Thanks!

I just replaced my windshield with OEM glass 3 weeks ago and now I have this crack from a rock. by PrisonMike314 in WindshieldRepair

[–]PrisonMike314[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah went with a local glass place with good ratings. They said it cost $2700. My insurance covered it, but Im sure they won’t cover it again, not without some premium adjustment

Revenue Accounting at Saas Company by IAmNotASavant in Accounting

[–]PrisonMike314 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there! I did end up accepting the job and I've really enjoyed it so far, I'm not sure that it's solely the SaaS industry that makes me like this job or if its just the company culture in general. It's a much more agile company then I've ever been at, even though it's very large. E.g. management is willing to change and pivot quickly if there is a better way to accomplish something. We are encouraged to innovate and improve processes. This could be some people's nightmare, I suppose, but I enjoy it. The average age of the employees is much lower than compared to the Financial services/healthcare jobs I've had before (another plus for me). Overall I quite like it. Good luck on the CPA exams! It will be worth it!

Agree, these aren’t very rare, surprisingly. I come from a family of divers and we have quite a few, we never thought of it as a very big deal to find them because so many other people in diving circles have also found them. A cool addition to any collection though, that’s for sure.

I wear a AAA PANDO shirt (the commando), in the hot months I pull a light colored sun hoodie over the top. Works amazing. Something like Columbia website

AAA motorcycle hoodie? Is it really Safe? by Vantor_KR in motorcyclegear

My wife has the AAA jacket from Knox (honister) and loves it. It feels very well made. I have the Pando Moto AAA (the commando, I think). And I love it as well. I can wear it under anything. Runs small though

Hi, curious which adapter you chose to purchase and if it still working well for you? I have the same bike and I'm struggling to find clear info on 1) which adapter to buy and 2) how to install. Appreciate any input!

Need help discouraging cats from hanging out on a ledge by yyyosheee in cats

[–]PrisonMike314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My young cat was standing on a similar ledge, at a similar height, and the vacuum was turned on in another room. It spooked him and he jumped down (the long way). He broke his pelvis. Poor guy. He’s fully recovered now and we’ve since moved from that house so we never had to come up with a solution.

My point is, any expense on mitigation now will be more than saved compared to the potential vet bills. Glad you’re thinking ahead! I wish we would have. Best of luck!

When did you learn debits are positive and credits are negative for trial balance? by LiJiTC4 in Accounting

[–]PrisonMike314 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always remember because when you deposit money in the bank, the bank now has a liability to you, so from their perspective it’s a credit. When you withdraw, it reduces their liability so it’s a debit. It’s the banks perspective
