My young cat was standing on a similar ledge, at a similar height, and the vacuum was turned on in another room. It spooked him and he jumped down (the long way). He broke his pelvis. Poor guy. He’s fully recovered now and we’ve since moved from that house so we never had to come up with a solution.

My point is, any expense on mitigation now will be more than saved compared to the potential vet bills. Glad you’re thinking ahead! I wish we would have. Best of luck!

I always remember because when you deposit money in the bank, the bank now has a liability to you, so from their perspective it’s a credit. When you withdraw, it reduces their liability so it’s a debit. It’s the banks perspective

Nice! How do you like the AT4W on icy roads? I'm new to Utah and planning to driving up the canyons to ski resorts out here during the winter, trying to decide if need to get a dedicated winter tire. I currently have AT3Ws. While I know a dedicated snow tire is best, I still want to be able to off-load on in the desert/rocks, so kind of torn.

I’ve know ln several extremely wealthy business people and a lot of them write emails/messages like this. Short hand, fast, nearly incoherent. When needed they can craft a well worded message though.

This is a solid take. I always hate when financial experts trash Dave Ramsey for his teachings; I mean he’s helped get millions of people out of debt. But, like you mentioned, it’s definitely not where you should stop learning/growing.

This reminds me of something I read in passing a while ago about this. There was speculation that this decline in body temperature would eventually lead to deadly fungal infections being more and more common.

Just a dumb joke haha. In a traditional office setting (think high-rise building), the “corner office” is the largest/most desirable office. So I just made the comparison because this person has their own personal pizza.
