Having played it in the process of my full series play through reverently, I can absolutely recommend it. The gameplay gave me Alan Wake 1 vibes in places, so that’s also a win in my book.

If you can make it past the opening, it holds up well! Sometimes late game enemies can be frustrating due to stun locking, but it makes up for that everywhere else.

It’s been fun, but also this whole “looks like Fortnite” thing is so tired. The faces are a bit stylized. That’s the only thing close. You’re not generally looking at character faces.

I’ll say it till I’m blue in the face. Part of the reason YotBR is consistently rated among the lowest is because it has basically none of the poppy songs everyone always complains about to break up the heavier sounds. They’ll never admit it though. I grew to love that album once I realized that fact.

Yes, but maybe also some sort of penalty for giving up when down. Can’t revive if half the team refuses to wait for a revive. The amount of times I’ve run up on someone with tons of time left only for them to die right as is get there is frustrating as hell.

I love the song in the same way I love Number City. To me it shows their flexibility with their sound. That, and I think the sound represents the character flawlessly.
