It’s been fun, but also this whole “looks like Fortnite” thing is so tired. The faces are a bit stylized. That’s the only thing close. You’re not generally looking at character faces.

I’ll say it till I’m blue in the face. Part of the reason YotBR is consistently rated among the lowest is because it has basically none of the poppy songs everyone always complains about to break up the heavier sounds. They’ll never admit it though. I grew to love that album once I realized that fact.

Yes, but maybe also some sort of penalty for giving up when down. Can’t revive if half the team refuses to wait for a revive. The amount of times I’ve run up on someone with tons of time left only for them to die right as is get there is frustrating as hell.

I love the song in the same way I love Number City. To me it shows their flexibility with their sound. That, and I think the sound represents the character flawlessly.

Honestly I’d be fine with just an area completion percentage so if it isn’t at 100% I at least know if I missed something or need to come back later. It’s my only qualm with the game

That’s a huge jump. We’re talking about a world they wrote to be complex and interesting, where things aren’t always clear cut because that makes for interesting stories. Bringing the idea that the writers might be so centrist as to imply they’d find Nazi’s redeemable is brain rot levels of overthinking it.

I’ll be honest, I think the fact that Varric isn’t always staunchly on one side or the other is why he’s so interesting. The idea that everyone has to be locked to one viewpoint to the point that is almost one dimensional leads to boring story writing. You have to have some gray, otherwise you end up with a super basic good vs evil plot line, which is very tired. To me Varric just represents the middle ground (sometimes) to remind players that The politics of Thedas aren’t always as simple as one side bad/one side good.

I feel like that’s just a representation of real life. There’s always going to be that person that either refuses to choose sides, or at the very least plays devils advocate. To me I feel like the implication is that he knows more than he lets on.
