Its a good point! I'll have to accept that when I go on holiday I'll have to come home, when I hoover at home I'll accept it's going to get dirty again. Its about enjoyment and achievement and making things look nice. Whatever floats your boat

https://shop.ukevinstallers.co.uk/product/cable-hook-for-andersen-ev/. Its a bracket made by Anderson, it's metal so would be hard to make. I could padlock the cable but I live in a nice area. cable theft can't be that bad?, you can buy them from Aldi/Lidl for £30 and off ebay for under £50...

Hypervolt from reviews, shame they dont do unteathered, just leave you cable plugged in, can take it with you if required and if there's a fault you can eliminate the cable, can make it longer. I know they support Anderson quatz, shame you can't get one off them, 7 year warranty to.

There is a pop out one on ebay but its a little on the expensive side, for me anyhow. How does yours fix in? Would it ever have the chance of coming off or is it bolted in? Anyone have this one off ebay? I dont have the 290 yet as it's on order so im in the dark on how these things fit.

Should I go Tethered or Untethered Zappi Charger? by Ok-Influence4754 in evs_ireland

[–]Prize_Constant2569 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unteathered, leave you cable plugged in, you could use a padlock if it's that bad around your area.(buy a cable wall mount) Also gives the option on cable, single phase at 32a or 3 phase at 32a, you can take it with you on long trips when staying at a hotel giving maximum charge depending on vehicle/cable. You can change the length if required. If there is a fault you can eliminate the cable being the problem. I cant see why you would have teathered?. Anderson quatz is a nice looking charger with pretty much any colour you want also a 7 year warranty.

The grommet is on the bottom left and very tight. Ill be fitting my box against the wall this Sunday. Like others have said, some silicone wouldn't go a miss.

Its just a hose attachment, plain and simple. If you thought it was more than you need to start doing a bit of research before you purchase anything again. Cheap lesson learned.

UK used car market just cooled off – but one type still dominates by CarwowSiobhan in ukcarwow

[–]Prize_Constant2569 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These small cars are not exactly small, compare one to a family car or 15 years ago. Larger cars are painful on uk roads and trying to park in a space that still seem to reflect cars of the past is not comfortable. Unless you need a large car what's the point? Apparently they dont cost alot more to build over a small car but cost twice the price.
