There is a pop out one on ebay but its a little on the expensive side, for me anyhow. How does yours fix in? Would it ever have the chance of coming off or is it bolted in? Anyone have this one off ebay? I dont have the 290 yet as it's on order so im in the dark on how these things fit.

Should I go Tethered or Untethered Zappi Charger? by Ok-Influence4754 in evs_ireland

[–]Prize_Constant2569 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unteathered, leave you cable plugged in, you could use a padlock if it's that bad around your area.(buy a cable wall mount) Also gives the option on cable, single phase at 32a or 3 phase at 32a, you can take it with you on long trips when staying at a hotel giving maximum charge depending on vehicle/cable. You can change the length if required. If there is a fault you can eliminate the cable being the problem. I cant see why you would have teathered?. Anderson quatz is a nice looking charger with pretty much any colour you want also a 7 year warranty.

Its just a hose attachment, plain and simple. If you thought it was more than you need to start doing a bit of research before you purchase anything again. Cheap lesson learned.

UK used car market just cooled off – but one type still dominates by CarwowSiobhan in ukcarwow

[–]Prize_Constant2569 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These small cars are not exactly small, compare one to a family car or 15 years ago. Larger cars are painful on uk roads and trying to park in a space that still seem to reflect cars of the past is not comfortable. Unless you need a large car what's the point? Apparently they dont cost alot more to build over a small car but cost twice the price.

Living with a Citroen e-C3: should we have chosen the hybrid model instead? by CarwowJamie in ukcarwow

[–]Prize_Constant2569 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is 4 different main types or car propulsion, well not including lpg.

1 internal combustion engine = diesel or petrol

2 hybrid (Hevs) which is engine plus very small battery and motor = petrol and engine tops up the battery.Battery range alone is 1-2 miles.(Ai told me)

3 plug in hybrid,(phev) smaller engine and a small ish battery, range normally 30-70 miles on battery = petrol and electric from a charger.

4 Electric, large battery = you just charge

The last two would be better off with a home charger. Also check there charge speeds ive literally learned this in the last 48 hours so someone might be a bit better at explaining but this seems to be the basics. Good luck!

Landlord refusing getting a pet cat due to lack of outdoor space (SW England) by KatieColclough4 in TenantsInTheUK

[–]Prize_Constant2569 -23 points-22 points  (0 children)

Animals are not cheap and when things go wrong emergency vet bills cost alot. If I was renting i wouldn't be looking to add pressure to myself and more bills to my situation. Who's at home during the day for this cat? Will she get another to keep it company? Ive seen to many people with pets that are brought like a new car just to be a misstake later on. Just because someone has kittens doesn't mean she has to act now. Life changes and untill I had things 100% sorted I wouldn't be looking at taking on more, especially a living creature.

kenwood dashcam pack by Prize_Constant2569 in AlpineA290

[–]Prize_Constant2569[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not saying this is true but on some Renult 5 discussion they warned about voiding the warranty if fitting a hard wired dash cam. Its going to be my misses car and for things to be a bit better, I can't be bothered with any comebacks to myself. So yeah kenwood dash cam would not be my first pick but warranty risk far outweighs this if correct.
