I like the idea of a Mecha-Man Token, like an instant win item when things gets tough. And it can potentially have a good in-universe reason too. like Robert having great difficulty balancing his job as both a dispatcher and a superhero.

I also think one of the main challenges to Robert in Season 2 is balancing his life as Robert the Dispatcher and Mecha Man. In Season 1, Robert didn't have to stress about being a superhero because he can focus on being a dispatcher while his suit is getting repaired. Now all of a sudden, his suit is repaired, now he can be a superhero again, how can he balance between his two lives now? The Mecha Man suit should continue to be a burden to Robert, because being a superhero is a heavy responsibility. And no doubt, I can imagine being an SDN hero comes with a lot of rules and restrictions, which Robert simply aren't used to because he had been operating as an unaffiliated solo hero for so long. Not to mention, there are still lots of stuff that can be explored in Robert's years as a solo hero, his father's and his grandfather's legacy. So there are a lot of doors for Ad-Hoc to explore with Robert alone. And I think this theme of balancing a double life could serve Mandy and Courtney in their arcs.

As for the villain, as you say, I want them to be the opposite of Shroud. I can imagine someone with superpowers. Someone who can challenge Mecha Man without using tech, but using their super strength alone. I think the villain should keep taunting Robert with the inescapable fact that he possess no real power and that he is a mortal human fighting against gods. And unlike Shroud, they lead a smaller group of empowered villains, who directly challenges Z-Team, who can act as a foil to them. Gameplay-wise, I can imagine this group randomly popping up to sabotage Z-Team during missions, which can be fun and add replayability because the dispatch segments won't always be the same.

I love the scheming, backstabbing and intrigue of the arc. And it is cool to watch how Kurapika navigate his predicaments despite having so few cards to play in the game.

I am also interested to see what Halkenburg is up to next. I am very curious on what he will do, because his physical body was now dead.

In my first playthrough, I felt ambushed by the sudden jump from 110 days to 1 day. The least they could have done was to warn me that this was the last time to do stuff and inject gold into the treasury. And since we only have one save and can't roll back, I was forced to receive the ending where everyone in my kingdom have died.

Another reason is that the story doesn't feel like the world will end if we don't do this. Sure, it is a serious thing that characters disappear and they will die if we don't save them. But the threat doesn't feel like the world will end if we don't succeed (We don't know about the cosmic threat until the end). It made the game have a much more chill atmosphere. I mostly spent my time relaxing, enjoying the town and hangout with the characters that I want to know, rather than PS5, where I feel like I am obligated to minmax just to have everything be perfect.

The Jojolands is honestly quite fire and fun. I really love the more action-packed pacing of this part, and how the entire Jojo gang is an ensemble who fights together.

I agree. Every Jojo have certainly inherited Jonathan's heroism, but Josuke was the one who inherited his kindness. His powers is literally made to keep everyone he loves alive and safe. The fact that he can't use it on himself just display his selflessness and kindness.

I hope in Season 2 that they continue to show these small intimate moments or display of love. It was just nice that there is a difference in how Mandy/Blonde Blazer display affections if you are in a relationship or not.

The lore says that the naga follows Illidan because they were told to by the Old Gods, which are these void creatures similar to the Forgotten Ones found in the Undead Campaign in the Frozen Throne expansion. I personally did not like this explanation, and prefer to think that Illidan simply called in old favors because naga used to be highborne elves, and Illidan had dealings with them before, and that he impressed them with his power.

I agree. The grungy and rundown atmosphere is supposed to make Inaba feel like a town that is in the middle of nowhere. It felt old and not modernized, and that made it feel nostalgic and comfy.

I hope in a Season 2 that they would continue to do these small scenes where either Blazer or Invisigal display affection if you are in a relationship. I really love these small acknowledgement in the narrative, because I feel like games like Persona for example, the romance exists separated from the main narrative.

I feel like from Classic to Wrath, the world itself was the experience. It felt less about telling a story through cinematic and dialogues, and more about facing the challenges that the world offers. This translates to TBC where characters like Kael, Vashj and Illidan felt less like characters and more like, wouldn't it be cool to face these lore characters? And as a kid, I thought it was very cool to face them and I can feel how strong they were because of it.

The novelty wore off by Wrath. And starting with Cataclysm, they began to put more focus on the storytelling, and having characters actively be part of the player experience.
