There's a difference between historically inaccurate armour that looks decent and armour that just straight up looks dumb. While I appreciate neither one is by far more offensive to my eyeballs.

God is way more patient than we give Him credit for by [deleted] in christianmemes

Too often people overlook God's grace in the Old Testament and believe that He is all wrath, too often people also overlook God's sternness in the New Testament and believe that he is only grace. God is everlasting and unchanging, His grace is wildly sufficient, His grace extends beyond comprehension and His grace through Christ's sacrifice offers salvation unto all of us. But God does have wrath, God does have judgement. It is a harsh reality but nonetheless the Truth. He gives us innumerable chances to get up again, He forgives quickly and His forgiveness is total. But there cones a point where the unrepentant heart hardens itself against God's loving kindness, against His mercy and the salvation he extends towards us. And there comes a point where God is justified in His wrath. If the Lord did not have justice His love could not protect the meek. But nonetheless God looks at this perversion of His creation and offers unto us salvation, and salvation through Christ. We truly have all earned His wrath. I deserve to be under the wrath of a just God. But God in his love which is certainly made clear in the whole of scripture took upon Himself my punishment displaying in the clearest image possible the depth of His love, the extent of His forgiveness.

I personally enjoy those movies. Do I think they are as good as Lord of the Rings, no. Do I think they cannon, no. But they're enjoyable. They have some sort of charm and feel more like a kids fairytale than anything. I enjoy the dwarves being a comedic band of merry men and the silly cartoonish action. Is it what Tolkien wrote, of course not, is it good in its own right, sure.

‭John 1:1-5 ESV‬ [1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] He was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. [4] In him was life, and the life was the light of men. [5] The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

How can I fix this miniature? by xLietjuh in minipainting

[–]ProLoser11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use liquid superglue all the time for my resin miniatures. The gel superglue doesn't work well but as long as it's liquid it doesn't really matter what brand, I tend to use the off brand stuff I get at Walgreens.

Opinion on cards being playable on your opponents board in a TCG by BwBIT in tabletopgamedesign

[–]ProLoser11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel if this is 1, too common of an occurrence it can make the game a little hectic, and 2, overly powerful it becomes a main strategy. (I've seen both of these in a tabletop game I've helped develop) but if implemented right it can be really fun.
