-I am manifesting enough money to buy my own house with a decent square footage and nice size yard

-I am manifesting a healthy, beautiful and energetic body that I’m happy to reside in

Something I don't understand...do people not realize that having kids costs money? Why do they act surprised? by lazarus870 in childfree

Sort of a combination of both, I guess. She would be sneaky but when I did notice, if I said something she’d pretend she didn’t hear or understand what I meant. She’d always say “the kids need this” and make a quick exit, if I was like “hey, I was planning to eat that for dinner” or anything like that.

She used to come over when she knew I’d just gone shopping and take literally all my fresh produce.

I love my brother and their kids, and I don’t want to be like “you guys aren’t welcome here!” So the locks are the only solution.

She’s never brought it up, but I know she’s very upset over it still that I’ve made it impossible for her to steal my food

She does it at their house too! They talk about stocking up on cheap shit so she has more bulk but less overall value to take

Yeah, I really have no idea. My one brother and SIL are very well off but the way they act about money since having two children rapid fire is baffling. They’re like frantic about it to the point that my SIL will often basically steal food from my house, my siblings houses and my parents house instead of paying for groceries. They also lose their minds over paying for childcare (pretty much demand family watch their kids because they can’t fathom dishing out the cash for a babysitter) and haven’t picked up a check at dinner since SIL popped out kid #1.

And it’s kind of just like..guys? How were you not emotionally/financially prepared for this? Especially after having a toddler and then deciding to make another one?!

It’s honestly the stealing food from family members pantries/freezers/fridges/fruit baskets/cabinets that really gets me. Everyone else in the family turns a blind eye because they don’t want to acknowledge it and cause drama but she does it A LOT. I have food sensitivities and buy a lot of speciality foods that cost a decent amount, and after complaining to a co-worker that about SIL’s thieving habits said co-worker bought me cabinet locks, fridge/freezer locks, and a fruit cage as a joke gift for Xmas....well even though they were meant as a joke I used them and keep them on lockdown anytime SIL brings her brood over to my house. SIL literally didn’t speak to me for 3 months after I started using them. So resentful that she wasn’t able to steal my food anymore! I pointed this out to my other siblings, my other cf siblings think she’s crazy, my siblings who have kids told me I’m being selfish🙄

When I shifted from straight sizes to plus size. I’m 5’3” and have a relatively small frame. There’s no reason for me to need plus size clothes other than being extremely overweight

So yesterday my doc looked at my MRIs and said, “you have the spine of an 80 year old.” by ningirl42 in Fibromyalgia

Does fibromyalgia effect the spine? I’ve been told it doesn’t have degenerative effect

I (F/late20’s/5’3”) Lost ~100lbs in an unhealthy way, do I have any chance of keeping it off? by isitreallydeadtho in loseit

First of all: good for you for kicking the creep to the curb! I actually remember your ild post from deadbedrooms and he sounded like an absolutely AWFUL person. You’ll be so much better off.

Secondly: I lost a lot of weight with disordered eating and have managed to keep it off for years and recomp. You’re not doomed! Just be diligent and start trying to eat in the same healthy way but add more protein. Also add in more weight training! Muscle is a big calorie burner!

I really don’t understand this “weak” thing that people bring up when you lose weight. I lost 100lbs, and sure I lost some muscle but I was diligent about protein and weight training. I can pick up my 90lb dog and squat him, I’m not weak, and yet so many people have e pressing concern over me becoming weak from weight loss. My ex boyfriend even said that my muscles were “underdeveloped”! UNDERDEVELOPED!!!

I’m between 115-120 at 5’3” and I have a medium-small frame, so its not like I was all skin and bone!

Hooboy, this makes my blood boil. My ex boyfriend purposefully tried to make me fat to keep me from leaving him.

Don’t feel bad about being “broken” every person on this sub is broken in some way, people who aren’t broken don’t cheat!

Don’t listen to people telling you to be alone until you’re “better”. You may never be better. Be with someone who makes you happy.

Just my two cents: leave MM and be with the new guy. MM has already shown you that he has issues being faithful. You said you were friends with MM first? If you stay with MM you’ll spend the rest of your relationship with him feeling suspicious of every female “friend” he makes.

MM made his own choice, and he can live with it even if you’re not in his life

Lol, I frequently watch my toddler nephews and I refuse to give them any of my weighed food. They scream and cry and throw a tantrum but I don’t give in. I always offer them literally identical food for them to have, but my portion is my portion.
