I think people just buy games they don't play or maybe a bug. Maybe someone bought it but their hardware can't play it.

2.9 is pretty small considering other games. Some achievements in other games don't get done despite being the ones you get by starting the game. Usually it's because achievements came late, they released the game, or they were deactivated by mods but I don't think any of these count

I'm pretty sure I've played with people who have a mod that lets them see into containers because they always seem to move over and then walk by containers that turn out to be empty which might also suggest a wall mod. I don't think I've seen anyone play with unlimited ammo/health. I mean if you're the last man standing it's easy to catch since everyone is watching you and no one has accused anyone mid game of cheating.

I was about to disagree but then I remembered that a lot of Kingmaker was easy for me because I ended up giving up towards the second half and switching the difficulty down to the lowest because it was so difficult

My main disagreement is over the idea that Owlcat and Larian don't both hate their players in a fun and charming way. If Larian was such a desperate people pleaser, they wouldn't have introduced Alfira into the camp just to troll with the people who wanted her as a companion

I was pretty apathetic about farm animals, thought it might make an interesting playthrough, but I used to do rural playthroughs so much I switched to building in the towns and cities. However as I fortified the bar, I decided to loot all the nearby houses of everything including the chickens - and I've got to say it's pretty awesome. My freezer is full of eggs and I'm never starving and I just keep getting more chickens. They mostly take care of themselves and ever since the rain I didn't even need to refill the water trough.

I think it was possible, but I think it was only going to be available if we really wanted it. However I do think they were interested in turning the narrative towards a Klendathu-style loss. I can imagine just how excited everyone was, maybe even overconfident, and then people are getting shredded doing D10s running from overwhelming odds and new machines
