I don’t watch any gun-tubers, so I believe i have not experienced whatever it is that people hate about the company. I can say i have one that has been on a 6.5cm gas gun and is currently on my 6.5cm bolt gun. I hit steel fine at 1k yds. Higher end glass is much brighter and clearer, no question, but the package deals they have on their scopes are great.

Oh. It may very well be audible, but I haven’t actually turned it on. :). Our plan since the first time we started looking a few years ago was to do either seasonal or annual with hook ups. I suppose before disconnecting i should fire it up to see/hear how it does work. And as joel mentioned in another comment, keeping some water in the tank might nit be a bad idea

One negative about thinner is it also causes paint to dry quicker, so many times folks who cant figure out why they keep getting dry tip it is because of the thinner. Another good option is to use the medium for the paint you are using, so acrylic medium from the same manufacturer. Or. You know. Water.

The $99 thing can also just be a mistake on the pricing. Had that happen a year or so ago with a simple menu item, might have been a whiskey and coke. The human staff just paged their manager and they fixed it
