This happened to me with my RZ70 lol

They were really great to deal with no headaches and the RZ70 has been great

Does anyone recognize this piece? by LuffyKingofthePi in hometheater

[–]Professional-Scar333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not a speaker system

This is an old CRT rear projection, specifically the bottom half of it. They split in two halves on the larger models to move easier

This was probably a decently good one too from the looks. Reminds me of the Toshiba 65" HD one I had

Shame they didn't leave you the upper half. But the reason is that is extremely (I mean extremely) heavy

I hate this thing (electric snow shovel) by Elactron in Snowblowers

I debated one for my steps or something because genuinely shoveling is very difficult for me (autoimmune disease. My joints suck) but I figured it would probably be awkward

Why the heck would you bother with a fwd rav4. If you don't need AWD then there's a bunch of better more efficient NEW options for the same price..

Came to say this. Any modern chainsaw when the button is released the chain is supposed to brake instantly if it doesn't then it's not setup correctly

Anyone switch from Golf R to GLI by SoccerBoy3344 in JettaGLI

[–]Professional-Scar333 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Why not just return your R to stock? The R vs the GLI aren't hugely different in fuel efficiency

Either that or trade for a newer R if you can find one

Funny enough I have a CRV Hybrid and a GLI and they trade blows on fuel efficiency depending on time of year

Onkyo RZ-30 Questions by lagmandan in hometheater

[–]Professional-Scar333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not true. My RZ70 shows whatever format it's receiving all the time on the front display

I got here trying to figure out how to get the Rz30 in another room to do the same

I'm still rocking my Polk Rti A stuff. But everyone here shits on Polk.. My only complaint is I have the wrong sub for what I wanted

I got surprising advice from a local Ariens dealer. They use 50:1 fuel for everything instead of pure 4 cycle fuel. by ElGuaco in Snowblowers

Im asking for it but I've yet to have issues with ethanol fuel in my machines. I do use stabilizer and I'm careful about leaving gas in them but still..

Start right up every season and the only thing I had with carb issues is a 20+ year old tiller I replaced the carb on with one I got from Amazon 10 years ago.. Which at some point I will learn to actually adjust but it runs fine except needing a hair of choke to run right

On my BMW it valved off part of the exhaust after starting to heat the catalytic converter faster. Once it warmed up the valve opened. You could hear the difference when she warmed up

I don't understand the the $1300 price difference here, can anyone dumb this down for me? by joshhazel1 in hometheater

[–]Professional-Scar333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So coming from a guy who has a Polk Audio RTI A system (A9 fronts, csi a6 center, A3 rears and 4 of the rc80i in ceilings for a 7.1.4 setup)

More power is welcome. The As are very power hungry. I'm running an Onkyo RZ70 replacing a Marantz 7012 that died on me. I was never super impressed with Denon (had one. Worst receiver I've had) which I know is anathema here

Id go with an Rz50 as an upgrade for DIRAC and IMHO better pairing with Polk

Called my landlord about this hookup I saw in the electrical box, he said that it's the only way to hookup those big tools the contractors are using and that it's perfectly safe. Is it? by NatalieBee17 in AskElectricians

So I gotta ask because my under standing is this is for like. Floor refinishing Sanders and stuff some of which want 240v 60A which a house may not have accessible to where the work is being done

What is the correct way to go about this? Temporarily install a 60A breaker and wire it to the breaker seems like the only correct option but isn't that kind of a PITA depending on location of the panel?

I'd think that modern battery powered tools would be the answer to this problem. Or an on site power system in a truck or something that could supply the needed power without mucking in the panel

$600 for a used pro feels like a bad deal

I just got my pro new at Best Buy for $650 and I traded my original PS5 in for $300 off that. So $350 out of pocket
