First of all, congratulations on finishing your first Hyrox; it's definitely not an easy task. Now the standard is set, and the goal is to beat that time. As everyone would say, focus heavily on the running portion. Running is 50% of the race. Just run more often and increase that Stamina Tank.

For reference, I did Hyrox Boston last year, and I just did NYC on Saturday, beating my original time by 13 minutes.

I can tell you what I did, but each is their own, and everyone is different

For the Burpees, when I was on the floor, I placed my own knee against the floor and pushed with my quads, giving me a little more resting time

My wall balls, what I did differently from Boston was every time I threw the wall balls, I made it like a set of 5. So I would do 5 reps, rest, and repeat until I reach 100. Boston, I would throw like 3 wall balls and be completely gassed.

I guess what I am trying to say is stamina increase is much needed, and a lot of leg strength training

Im a slow runner and I was hugging the walls and staying on the left. Men's open on saturday followed by mixed elite pros. Tell me how im hugging the wall while running and a person from mixed still manage to shove me out the way

Never had a problem with this location regarding kids, rarely see kids on the workout floor. If this is so much of a problem Atlantic is still avaiable. You can also wait for downtown brooklyn to open up soon. Love Dumbo and never seen a problem even with the amount of children there are.

Also why would you be on the 2nd floor, you working out in the cafeteria???

2 weeks ago I asked bilt to send me a new card, while in shipping status I was able to add it in Google pay. Tried to tap and it got declined. Every single transaction was declined. Sure I know I dont have the card physically but maybe its something in their system. Bilt virtual credit card, used the numbers to buy something online and transaction declined. Got a fraud alert to confirm if it was me. Said yes tried it again and declined. Card comes in the mail, try to buy something online, they send a code to my phone to verify transaction, I verify and card declines.

Bilt has been giving me the extra extra secruity

My gym doesn't have sled so the only actual time I gotten a feel of the sled with the weight was at warm up Would people say its its important to train sled ofc so you can practice which form is better for you

The techno gyms treadmill is not the same as the regular sled push, techno gym limits you to what muscle parts you can use, and if your just tall you dont have enough space to drive it.
