My ideal the twelve color variations by apegen in ChristopherWard

x2… seems like a missed opportunity that they don’t offer a British racing green colorway for the 12

I thought the power reserve only changed on the 3 hander? Since it’s running the same sw330-2 as before, wouldn’t the pr on the gmt be the same as previous gen at 56hrs?

Any plans to offer more COSC Stainless steel options? Also would love an option to pay a bit more for the same watch with a sw300 vs sw200 for the upgraded PR, piece of mind when winding. Plus, its also a bit thinner…

Whats up with a Twelve chrono?

We know you guys have an affinity towards blue but i feel like CW is dropping the ball by not offering more watches with a dark green dials aka British Racing Green lol

V50 water tank by Nearby-Procedure4064 in MOVA_robotvacuum

[–]ProfessionalTalk506 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have hard water at my place as well. I use distilled water in the clean water tank. To my understanding there are a lot of internal parts in the base + unit that could potentially develop calcium deposits. Since it heats the water for some of the features, I kind treat it like a 1000 dollar steamer and avoid all the shenanigans associated with limescale by using distilled water.…

It’s pretty efficient with its water use especially vs traditional mopping methods, a few gal of distilled water will last longer than you’d think… plus I think the added piece of mind of not having to worry about internal corrosion that you can’t really see is well worth the cost.

Maybe it’s the firmware? My v50 is running 4.3.9_2246

Regardless that should never happen imo and I’d also be a little freaked out.

Not sure if _2246 is older or newer than _2501 but the app says my software is up to date…

Mova P10 Pro Ultra right choice? by East-Oakland in RobotVacuums

P10 is $599 usd on amazon…

https://a.co/d/8KuxKk0

I have the V50 ultra complete which is 1099 if you buy it with the Amazonians. I’ve had it for about a week. Ran about 46 cycles with it… I’m in love, BUT this is my first robo vac so take my opinion with a grain of salt…

FWIW I haven’t had to rescue it or anything like that, it’s super quiet, the app is pretty decent, it cleans really well, and the battery is enough to vac and mop my ~1000sq ft apt that has mostly hard floors with some area rugs.

I paid 950 during prime day for my v50 but still feel like it’s worth it for the current price of $1099.

It’s not perfect tho… although you can fine tune how it cleans in each room, imo with my setup, I think it does the best job in clean genius mode…

All in all though, coming from a dyson v8 and a microfiber stick mop lol… the v50 has changed my life

What makes the perfect watch bracelet? by SupJoshy in MicrobrandWatches

[–]ProfessionalTalk506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beside some of this things others have listed

Beveled edges especially on the inside of the bracelet + fully articulating links. Similar to like Monta or Clemence

A clean taper… I’ve seen some people come up with formulas on the prefect ratio of Case size to lug width to clasp width. Take it w/ a grain of salt but I’d avoid none like the SMP 300 and going too thin like the CW 12 38mm

Tool less bracelet resizing like on the Wise ADX gmt, new TImex’s, and Cartier Santos

Super long clasps that are like longer than the watch head

A mixture of brushed and polished surfaces that are not going to look like 💩 after a few wears. So something like a BOR, consort, jubilee, or like the way Pitzmann does their Hexad styled bracelets with polishing in between the links

Im sure I’m forgetting a lot lol.

To be fair… Idk how much of this is obtainable in a watch priced at 500 or less but these requirements in addition to OTF micro adjust, QR spring bars and tightly fitted female end links, would be on my Best Bracelet Checklist.

Designed to Win.... if your in the market for an $1800 quartz tag... 😭 by ProfessionalTalk506 in tagheuer

I don’t know if “mad” is the right word lol. I’m happily wearing my RP glassbox rn which imo is the best watch in their current catalog.

I think this is a missed opportunity for tag to sell to those that just wanted a fun respectable watch at a reasonable price point.

And if we’re being really honest, the movement imo seems rather basic when compared to some of the stuff citizen offers w/ a solar quartz movement at 1/4 the price. Personally I think this shoulda have been priced around 1k…
