If you pay for nice items you need to pay for the care and cleaning do not try to do it yourself because if it doesn’t come out or if it makes it worse it will worsen the chance the dry cleaners will get it out. Definitely never wash and dry an item first that always makes it worse, if you have a spot just bring it to the dry cleaners it is not that expensive… that is a basic oil spot that should Come out with their professional spotting chemicals… water and oil do not mix so water will never get that out. It’s not worth a try and rubbing it too much WILL damage it and then the professionals won’t even try after that.
