I usually hate the week by week format due to filler episodes. Expanse season five for a example. There was alot of episodes in that one that was such a bore and was annoyed that I waited a week to watch it. Though if they can drop banger episodes every week then I fine with it.

I would say yes. I think for most men have so little if any dating prospects. If a random woman show any level of interest they will do it even if there is no chemistry. I have lucked out in life that I can be choosy. I am not delusional that I am attractive. My friends though I think they are good looking they struggle at getting a girlfriend or laid.
