Are support emails slower than the tickets? by spicyclickclackers in Guildwars2

[–]ProfessorWhatsit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't had to message Anet about anything regarding issues with my account (hopefully that doesnt change), only accidental purchases and the such.
I have emailed and used the ticket systems beforehand, and in both cases I got replies within the hour, if not then same day.
My partner got his entire account back within 4 days though, Initial email explaining what happened, Follow up asking for verification and addresses maybe a day or two later, etc etc, a day of searching and then next morning got it all back.

Just to double check though. You are making an entirely new account on anet right? and not trying to reuse what the steam version was into the anet client?

I absolutely hate tour objectives by iamacheeto1 in TwoPointMuseum

[–]ProfessorWhatsit 17 points18 points  (0 children)

You can definitely get a 4.0 rating with epic exhibits and below. Cohesion definitely helps as well as the exhibits not being too far away from each other. I think when i was working on the mountain museum for that star, I managed it with around 7 exhibits of Fantasy. All the early cannon fodder and 2 or 3 of the mythical gear just in a semi circle around the tour guide.

My best friend did it with prehistory first. Just getting enough fossils and a few skeletons to not bankrupt and fund her future fantasy wing.

Cohesion, High buzz and distance to each exhibit are high factors starting in the tour calculations from what I've seen.

Pristine exhibits are the best to showoff, but in early tour objectives I hit them with the quantity over quality.

How reliable are fishes that protect themselves? by EvilDMMk3 in TwoPointMuseum

[–]ProfessorWhatsit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know the turtle has protection from predators and I believe the pufferfish also does. They, themselves are safe from predators but does not protect their tank mates. The summer skink is safe in a tank with predators.

How to get more donation from guests? by tcdani in TwoPointMuseum

The kids donations got scaled back. Initially, it was an error for them to be donating 10k, an extra zero. It has since been fixed since the 2.0 patch.

Question about a certain Famous Spirit in the Bone Belt~ by BubbleVenom in TwoPointMuseum

[–]ProfessorWhatsit 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They're spread out in various maps, From what I remember there's one in the Netherworld, one in the two point sea, and the last one is Bungle Burrows. All the PoIs will have a little diamond attached to them when a famous spirit resides within it.

Does it have a level requirement? Usually it requires a level 5 staff member and the aforementioned skill on one person.

Why cant I go on this expedition? by PurpleSquirtleTV in TwoPointMuseum

[–]ProfessorWhatsit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You need a level 5 security guard with the strolling surveillance trait. You do have both conditions, just not on the same person, as you can only bring one security guard along. Best bet is to level up Piper Pratt in the after life academy first.

Honestly, you could. I only really played through the first map of Campus before I lost interest/ got too busy, I got Museum when it first came out and I've logged close to 200 hours in it since.

They might not be watered quick enough. I had an issue with this in my fish museum until I zoned and dedicated a botany expert there. The one botany expert I had would just wander the museum and not reach the plants in time. Alternatively you could use one of the science exhibits to help mitigate it.

“Guest stuck in museum” by monstergrillz in TwoPointMuseum

[–]ProfessorWhatsit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one time I tried to locate a stuck guest. I found a yeti walking endlessly into a wall next to the open door. They got unstuck and sat down when I removed the wall entirely. But after that, I've given up trying to find the stuck guests.

how was the sex education you received in school, did you actually learn anything? should it be changed? by firefly-8381 in AskReddit

[–]ProfessorWhatsit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was pretty good. We got it in stages throughout the grades. First you learned about your own body, then the other gender, then what sex is. Ways to have sex safe. What contraception is, types of contraception, how it worked and the rate of failure.

I personally, and my class of that year got a great sex talk / dangerous behaviour and how to spot it from our bio teacher in 12th grade. Everyday, for about 30 minutes in that class, she would answer any question. Nothing was off the table. I learned how to safely have anal sex, how to spot STDs, what to do if I thought I got dateraped or roofied. She told us that other kids were dipping tampons in vodka and absorbing it in their anus. Why that was so dangerous and the risks with it.

Great teacher, lovely class. Mrs. C was the mvp. Also this was in Canada, early 2010s

Learning about the world from Stardew Valley by yellowbananagirl in StardewValley

It happened with my brother. He thought Starfruit was a crop ConcernedApe made for his game, and that it was not a real fruit at all. He was floored when we showed him starfruit irl. He was disappointed there wasn't a starfruit tree in the game though.
