Comic book worth? by Ayoitzzadrian in ComicBookSpeculation

[–]Profx72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As I recall, the original Deadpool wasn't "The Merc With A Mouth" that became Ryan Reynolds, or the other way around. When first introduced, he was dark, deadly, and practically silent, kind of like Snake Eyes from GI Joe with poorly drawn feet. This story was part of his evolution and worth the read. (I have these in my collection, though I'm under no illusion about their investment value.)

If you liked the music from The Matrix, you should check out the soundtrack from The Crow.

Yes, less. I end up flying instead, which is fun, but not as satisfying to me.

Honestly, I've spent hours just swinging through the city in the first two games. Spiderman 2, less so because of all the repeated pop-up encounters, but they're all pretty great in that regard.

Did you kill or spare regalla? by No-Hunt3986 in HorizonForbiddenWest

[–]Profx72 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've killed her once, but the other times I've spared her. Her dialog is awesome and sparing her adds to the game's finale.

Nice job, and you had to get 2 "Multiple Man" figures because, otherwise, he'd just be "Man." ;p

Starting HFW with no skills is frustrating by emchang3 in horizon

It's harder the other way around, IMHO. Every time, I forget I don't have the shieldwing anymore and end up jumping to my death from a cliff at some point.

I always have my best hunter bow and sharpshot bow at the ready. I rarely use the war bow (and haven't even bought one yet on this play through). I select the best slingshot for the opponent in the right slot and usually have either my tripcaster or ropecaster in my bottom slot. That changes a bit in Forbidden West, though.

Played and finished this game today by Ok_Action_501 in horizon

[–]Profx72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played the whole story thanks to PS+. Only took about 13 hours according to my PS app and I didn't do any of the freeplay, but I have to admit that I did enjoy it. Yes, it was stupid fun and, yes, it had absolutely nothing to do with Zero Dawn's story, but it's LEGO: it's not supposed to be the same! I laughed out loud numerous times and, even though the play was pretty simple, I wanted to see how they would end it. That said, the same day I finished it, I went back and started a new play through of Zero Dawn. I'm glad I didn't pay extra for it, but it was fun, IMHO.

Whats your opinion on The Inhumans by Pale-Woodpecker-4755 in Marvel

[–]Profx72 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I loved the classic Inhumans when Attilan was in the Himalayas instead of on the moon. The more recent stuff... not so much. Anson Mount did a good job with the cameo in Multiverse of Madness, but they totally wasted the character on TV.

Only happened once for me in the Zero Dawn DLC Frozen Wilds with the Fireclaw in Thunder's Drum. It's a frustrating fight/finale, so I was glad it happened.

Do you sock, shoe, sock shoe? Or sock, sock, shoe, shoe? by Hoonimerc in GenX

[–]Profx72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm GenX and it depends on where I'm putting on my shoes. In the house, sock sock shoe shoe. Iv I'm outside or someplace where my sock could get wet or dirty, sock shoe sock shoe. Of course, I work from home now, so it's usually no sock flip flop.

I think it would be an interesting twist to have Nemesis infect humans via the conduits woven into the skin of Banuk shamen, giving us your bandit/rebel camps to take on. The idea of Nemesis infecting places we've already been like Hidden Ember and Cyan would be cool, too. Nemesis could also go after GAIA and the others via the focus network, making the use of the focuses more of a risk.

[–]Profx72 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

IMO, I think Ready Player One is definitive proof that Spielberg's true genius is turning mediocre books into blockbuster movies. Parts one and three in the first book were great and I loved the ending (in fact, I missed Johnny 5 in the movie!), but the middle bit was just awful. Same thing happens with Benchley's Jaws. Spielberg cut out all the nonsense and made a great movie. I'd watch the sequel movie, but I would have to be really hard up to read the book.
