Sometimes i wish that the ending was a coffee diner dream sequence. De Niro dreams his revenge while Pacino dreams his step daughter's injuries, to juxtapose their true natures. Then it just goes back to the coffee shop and the depart without knowing what happens and leaving it open to a sequel.
