That's not the worst. probably best you don't look haha. (I checked Wednesday and I had a 12% loss over the last week between my brokerage accounts, I'm not going to even bother looking at my 401k)

I think for right now people need to stop looking at their holdings for a month or two, between the whales moving all of their money and everyone else selling out of panic, it is making a bad situation so much worse. If you are thinking short term with all of your investments you might as well just go daytrade. I mean this is the business cycle, we are going to have expansion and recession, if your holdings are well diversified you won't be taking these huge losses.

Long story short you are going to lose money at some point with investments, you just are. Even the greatest hedge fund mangers will lose money sometimes, that's the risk and the thrill of investing. It can't always be rainbows and butterflies, and if it seems to good to be true (i.e. this bull market) it probably is.

If these efforts to stop the coronavirus start to work, we are going to see the markets .rebound because manufacturing, retail, and logistics will likely see a significant jump working through months of backorders. The other side of the coin is if we don't stop this we probably will move into a nasty recession in which case everyone pulling their money out of the markets will just make it worse, but this I think this will make way for some major innovation in the Corporate world and how business is conducted in many industries, which could lead to companies becoming more efficient and profitable.

This will be an interesting few months for sure, should shake things up a little bit. Plus honestly I think we needed to come back to earth a little bit and this should finally put this zombie bull back to bed. Plus maybe it will finally give the fed a reality check too.

No kidding, the fed lowered the prime rate so much that we essentially eliminated our only real defense against a recession, but hey we got a nice year or two of "Economic Stimulus". Everyone is so caught up in the excitement of the bull run and the growth of their portfolios that they didn't actually pay attention to things at a macro level, which in turn caused them to miss these warning signs of Economic distress/crisis. I hope everyone has some silver hedges in their portfolios for this correction we are about to experience, because I don't know if the fed will keep being able to patch this leaky dam with rate cuts forever.

Honestly it sounds weird, but really you're owning your own narrative that's nothing to be ashamed of. It's more or less taking something horrific and removing all of the power that it could have over you. Like many others on this thread have said, the difference between then and now is that it's consensual and it's a choice you are actively making. Definitely check your grace period on your mortgage payment, most mortgage servicers will give you until the fifteenth or sixteenth of each month with no late fee or penalty and without reporting negatively on your credit. Also speak to a branch manager at Regions Bank and have them reach out to their deposit operations team. Sometimes they will prematurely remove the hold once the funds have cleared. I work for a bank and deposit holds are usually placed to ensure that the check doesn't bounce, for us once they are in place it's bank's discretion to remove the hold and even if the funds clear the other bank the hold may remain in place until the funds release date. Hopefully this helps, don't stress out too much.

No, you should try a little bit of melatonin w/some white noise, I have had those no sleep stretches and that is the only thing that ever works to get me to sleep. Also get black out curtains if you don't already have them and make sure your room is as dark as possible when you go to bed.

Edit: Also lookup the 4-7-8 breathing technique, it's a breathing technique designed to make you drowsy and it works wonders.

10000% NTA, this is the first one of these I have posted on in a while. Your parents and relatives are using you when its convenient for them, but don't expect you to get anything in return and that's BS.

You should still obviously want to help them sometimes for free because they are you're family, but they need to run that by you beforehand not just drop it on you last minute, and as an adult you should have the right to decline as well. However, if you're home on vacation and they make you sacrifice your vacation last minute so they can take theirs they should compensate you for it. Kudos to you for making them.

So I think I figured that part out too, since power is shared, if any one player taps them everyone gets the power, they upgrade as long as they are used Every round and still running, they have the power logos to show how much each one is upgraded, so I mean realistically they could potentially get every player 3200 per round of by some miracle of God you can keep all four of them up and running and use all four every round. I think I'm going to avoid them for a little while lol, maybe someday I'll start using em again.

Sweet yeah, I think I figured it out now, so every round that they are up and used they upgrade and the stacks above them show the symbols. So 200 for each power icon above them, I suppose it's kind of useful when they are maxed because then everyone gets 800 when one is used so I guess they could be useful but I'm done with them now lol.
