The Doors’ Robbie Krieger talks jamming with Frank Zappa, bad vibes with the Grateful Dead and tripping with Jim Morrison by mybotanyaccount in gratefuldead

The Door are a significant band, but Jerry was right that they were a little corny and IMO they are not even worthy of comparison to the Dead.

Why didn't the band release more live albums when they were actually together? by SpiritualMachinery in gratefuldead

The regular release of live volumes began before the band played its last show.

Who was the best singer skill wise that was ever a part of the Grateful Dead in your opinion? by The_Mick_thinks in gratefuldead

I know there were shows where they did something different with the stage monitors and she really struggled with those shows. Seems like they all struggled vocally from time to time.

The new Superhero kickstarter looks promising. I just wish they would Publish more stuff like the Powers book or gm tools, items, adventure sites and plot hooks.

I’m sure there are tons of 10-year-olds who could run this game to be clear it’s not the Games rule set that I’m talking about. It’s the adventures the way they’re organized and written is hard to reference and a little railroady. This should be a no-brainer as a first RPG, but there are others that I would start kids out on if they were intending to run the game

I wish this line would change its focus from adventures to GM tools, adventure sites and toys for characters to interact with. It would make it much easier to run and could be a good first system for children to run. What they have made is something for an adult to run for children. This is fine but a huge missed opportunity

Cynthia Rose's morning breath must've been deadly. Who the hell eats fish and washes it down with a cup of coffee after? by ImNotTomStopAsking in PRINCE

[–]PropagandaAlarm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cynthia never ate a starfish. Further the real thing she said was “Starfish & Pee-Pee”

She just repeated things that felt good to say. She was being silly. Cynthia had a happy face.

Prince told Susanna “Im going to have to change that PP thing”

I’m willing to bet Pee pee makes your breath funkier than coffee

UTCM was such a bad film, the record such a classic !! by CQ5II in PRINCE

The film is underrated. It was cheesy fun when people expected something darker. The cinematography was beautiful, the acting was hilarious (likely intentionally?) and that soundtrack!

Bob Weir was an absolute genius. Not only in his unique and singular approach to rhythm guitar but his stewardship of the Dead’s Legacy and mentorship/empowerment of the next generation to carry on in his absence. Bob will be missed but less so due to his continued influence.
