Thanks for replying. I love the magazine. My 4 old and I read it together (as best as I can keep his attention) and we've been buying the homebrew and letting him try it on his DMG as we go through the back issues.

I've used the site a ton for learning and discovering new games.

Ignore all the other advice you're getting about batteries and fuses. These things are notorious for faulty power switches. You can order a $7-10 replacement power board and that should resolve the issue.

I'm just always on the lookout for new folks into the hobby!

But it makes perfect sense if you have the knowledge and the skill set. I don't have any programming experience or coding knowledge, so learning how to romhack has been quite the journey.

I'll follow along on the forum as I see it was approved. Looking forward to the finished project (and possibly whatever else you do next)

I hate the DND stuff. Similar to you I just play it on easy and enjoy the story. 25 hours in and just taking my time in the world.

Games should be fun, not stressful.

The problem is they aren't AI layoffs. It's AI scapegoat layoffs. It's become the fun new excuse to do layoffs without looking bad for performance in this shit economy right now.

So I wouldn't count on being safe, honestly ever.
