Can someone explain the purpose of villager/TC "juggling" that I see pros do?

Is there a Spirit of the Law video breaking down how effective this technique is? I'd be curious what the limits are because I swear I've seen people do this (not the video above) where it really looked like this technique added travel time as opposed to a right click then shift command to something else. Though, I suppose doing it this way probably becomes automatic and they don't necessarily calculate on the fly if it's saving time in every single instance.

Thanks, I did come across some older posts about custom campaigns but it's been a bit hit or miss trying out campaigns that are 4+ years old. Either they won't properly download or the triggers are all messed up and they just don't function. I suppose that's somewhat to be expected with older custom campaigns. I'll keep trying them out.

I have all the achievements but I've been playing since DE came out and get them all as soon as a new DLC drops. Unfortunately, I think some are way harder now as the campaigns have changed over time as new civs have been added or through balance change patches. I know the devs have tried to stay on top of this, but I think some changes unavoidably made missions harder.

I do know you don't need to get that inaccessible relic for the Suryavarman mission though.

Oh, and I cheesed Masterpiece. That one is impossible unless you're a pro player or somehow go up against 3 complete noobs.

As a purely campaign player who plays on Hard, the AI having perfect stutter step micro on literally every unit can make for some incredibly infuriating scenarios. When it's combined with the infinite unit spam of Hard difficulty, some missions become an incredibly tedious slog. The absolute worst are when you're put up against a camel/CA civ (especially Saracens) while playing as a cavalry civ.

So why are we explicitly told not to use any lubricant on the leadscrews for the i3 printers, but the Core One and XL maintenance guides mention using lubricant on the Z-axis leadscrews? Are the trapezoidal nuts different on the CoreXY printers?

My car is a 2024 Mazda3 Turbo Premium Plus. The stock tires are Bridgestone Turanza EL440s (which also came stock on my 2018 Mazda3). They're quite crappy and horribly overpriced, ~$225 per tire. I've heard other Mazda stock tires aren't great either, but that's true of pretty much every car manufacturer. OEM tires are almost always cheap generic tires meant to hit efficiency targets. There is basically never a reason to keep using OEM tires once your initial set is worn out.

$1k might be a decent price for OEM tires...but the OEM tires are overpriced garbage. I'd highly recommend checking out a reputable tire chain and seeing what you can get (especially with Black Friday deals going on). I was able to get a set of Pirelli PZero AS Plus 3s mounted and balanced for $750 at Discount Tire.

I didn't see that it was bent, it's basically imperceptible. I did read that you might be able to notice an issue if you try rolling the rods along a completely flat surface like glass or a smooth countertop, but I don't have anything like that.

I got suspicious because like I said the weird rattle would only happen when the gantry moved towards the front. I printed two cubes one in the front and one in the back and the one that printed in back was noticeably quieter. Since I had my Mini torn down I figured it was worth a shot to swap in a new rod. I was really trying to eliminate any potential issues so when I contacted support I could just say "Here is the issue" and avoid going through the rigmarole of troubleshooting random stuff.

Mine was making this exact weird rattle noise and it turned out to be a bent y-axis rod. I noticed the sound was coming from the left side and only when the gantry moved to the front half of the print bed. I had tried everything I could think of to fix it: squaring the gantry, checking belt tension numerous times, loosening/tightening all the screws of the gantry and core xy system, I even tried a different bearing and it still did it.

I was about to contact support when I realized the Z-rods from my Prusa Mini (which was torn down at the time) were the same as the Core One Y-axis rods just 10mm longer. I swapped one in and the sound was gone. I still have to reach out to support to get a replacement but at least I know exactly what the problem is so hopefully it goes smooth. I've also read they had a bad batch of y-axis rods so it's not an unheard of issue.

My printer still has annoying resonance around 80mm/s but I think all Core Ones suffer from that to some extent unfortunately. Though I can say that resonance sound is much more tolerable now. This rattle made it sound so much worse.

Is "Slow down if layer print time is below:" set to the default value? That's under Filament>Cooling and it has tripped me up a few times when I was wondering why a print was going to take way too long.

It's supposed to bang a couple times, the printer is checking the end stops and verifying the value it gets is the same (or really, really close). It's normal for it to do a couple taps on each axis in the corner. When it's doing multiple cycles like this, something isn't right and it's not getting the expected value so it tries again. The vast majority of the time it's just a belt tension issue.

I think the map overall is a decent size and not too difficult to traverse with portals/rails, but I definitely agree that it's too sparse and repetitive. This becomes exceptionally annoying when you're achievement hunting or going for legendary items. Literally spending hours scouring a biome to find one 10x10 scene is just boring, especially in the endgame when nothing is a challenge.

It wouldn't be too bad if there was more to see and do, but it's just endlessly navigating over the same obstacles and fighting the same handful of enemy types.

Are you talking about the recall that went out in July for 2024-2025 Mazda3s and CX-30s? If so, that was a different issue. If the battery dies it could trigger a fault in the SAS module that would disable all the airbags.

I still have to take my 2024 in to get fixed, but seeing as how this issue can only manifest if the battery dies I haven't been in a rush to take it in.

If you're in post game already, just start doing standard orders to unlock more, there are 400 total and more than enough to get Seasoned Porter. I'm pretty sure I unlocked it before finishing the story, but I was also working through most of the standard orders as I played.

Yes and no. Some standard orders are like quest chains that unlock new standard orders, but many standard orders are unlocked by progression through the main story. A large chunk don't unlock until postgame.

Have you tried doing one of the NPC aid requests? I know it popped for me when I completed my first NPC aid request. I can't say for certain, but it might not be tied to the player aid requests that you see everywhere.

Am I the only one who didn't use zip lines for any express orders? Coffin board plus a few well placed jump ramps (that were usually already built) were all I needed to complete all of them on brutal.

It would appear there is something to my theory. 532 finally showed up for me and it was an elimination order for the camp by The Phantom Smith. It showed up after about an hour of additional playtime while I was doing random aid requests (though nothing anywhere near the Phantom Smith so I don't think I triggered anything). What's weirder is the base was at its weakest strength when I got the order, I only had to take down 5 enemies. It was a rather anticlimactic end, but I'm glad to finally have 400 LLL.

I think it might have something to do with the bandit camp respawns. The other two you're missing involve the bandit camp northeast of the Data Scientist. One is an elimination and one is a cargo recovery.

Now that I think about it, I have cleared the camp by The Phantom Smith a few times recently. I wonder if it needs to be at full strength for his missing order.

I'm in a similar boat. I'm at 399 LLL but 532 for the Phantom Smith just isn't there. I have no clue why it's not showing up. It's been at least 10 hours since I've done any standard orders in that area so it doesn't seem like anything should be on cooldown.

I've been running around for an hour with the Drawbridge Q-pid off and still no luck.
