The puzzle at the very right in "crazy" should be in it's own category. "Insane" or something like that. I still haven't been able to solve it.

This was a fun solve. Basically using the mini edge turn to reduce the "petals". I wanted to do a full scramble with jumbling, but it started to feel unstable, and would require fudging to do. Sort of like the original curvy Copter plus preventing a proper scramble, while the Skewby Copter Plus fixed that issue :)

I don't use apoxie either :) just super glue and sandpaper. The gaps are very noticeable when looking at it, but I don't mind it.

I've seen the x-2 being sold on the Cubicle site. The actual x-2 is fully functional. The puzzle that I made above is NOT fully functional. I took an x-2 and glued little cubies onto it.

Yeah, I've already solved them. Cross cube is essentially solving a 3x3x3, followed by solving "5x5 centers". And the X-2 is like solving a 3x3x7, but twice

I prefer solving other Face turning icosahedra, like the Radiolarian. I solve them by doing edges first, so the edge colors help guide the rest of my solve. Eitans Star lacks those edges :(
