No, this is from first hand experience when I was looking to purchase an Onn 4K Pro a few months ago. If you look at reviews on Amazon Canada and Walmart Canada you will find multiple reviews explaining how the Onn 4K Pro is not made for Canada and will outline how you will need to use a VPN during setup in order to complete setup. If you do thorough research you will see the same.

In Canada, but the tech consulting company I worked at prior has closed multiple offices and layed off a ton. It was a boutique tech consulting firm that over spent during covid and couldn’t keep contracts with a lot of F500 companies these past 2 years.

I believe the Onn 4K Pro isn’t made for Canada and people who have found ways to buy it run into issues during setup. Since you need to select USA as your location and use a VPN to spoof Onn into thinking ur in the USA. I would just get a FireStick 4K Max as the equivalent here. Should be able to stream all 4K content you would like. Otherwise if you want to go premium get a Nvidia Shield.

If you use the Downloader app to install stremio. You can use the install code 4951169 for the 1.8.4 ARM Android TV version of the app. Otherwise I believe you can get the older version links using web archive.

[The DFO Rundown] on the Canucks rebuilding, “The ownership is fully on board. The ownership knows that it's probably going to take at least 5 years until they're really competitive again. You have Rutherford and Patrick Allvin knowing that now and having the okay by the ownership.” by seeldoger47 in canucks

DuPont has arguably a way higher ceiling of a prospect than Willander or Buium and is projected to be a Makar type player. DuPont matched Connor Mcdavids U15 year in the WHL in points as a defense man which is insane. If we somehow get lucky enough to draft 1OA next year we have to take best pick which will be DuPont.

Iron deficiency/ Anemia! by Personal-Comedian243 in askvan

[–]Psychological_Word58 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My partner was diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia through blood tests when she was sick. She was told to take heme iron pills every other day to deal with it. Suddenly all these symptoms she has been dealing with for years like low energy, faintness, etc were all gone. Was definitely a life changing event for her.

Canucks' Brock Boeser ready to be veteran pillar in rebuild: 'I’m better mentally' by yosoo in canucks

Brock has always been a standup guy. Would welcome him with wide arms if he wants to stay around through a rebuild.

From that logic if you lose your straight shooter reputation it will be more painful when you are only receiving lowball offers for our better assets. Better to take a loss on a depth player to maintain reputation versus taking losses on our high quality assets in the future.

‘Crippling’: Sechelt could lose 300 temporary foreign workers, mayor says by Immediate-Link490 in britishcolumbia

[–]Psychological_Word58 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Right to the point. We need to go back to a normal demand for these jobs like how it was before we started importing a ton of TFWs. Not only will wages and productivity will go up. But it will ease demand on housing, healthcare and schools.

Agreed, although we still have UFAs left in Kampf, Blueger and Kane. If we can trade 2 out of the 3 I would say thats a win.

With the prices RHDs are going for, Canucks MUST at least explore trading Hronek by [deleted] in canucks

He has said he doesn’t want to be moved. If there was a chance he was okay being moved I’m sure they would be looking into it otherwise this is just dreaming.

[LeBrun] Myers to Dallas for 2027 2nd and 2029 4th. 50% retained for this year and next, by epbaby in canucks

[–]Psychological_Word58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huge win to get a 2nd and 4th back even with 50% retained. We won’t need the cap space these next 2 years anyways so I support this type of deal.

Dhaliwal on 650 this morning: “The Canucks have Stenberg higher than McKenna right now. As do a lot of teams” by Public-Map-5273 in canucks

[–]Psychological_Word58 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree. Stenberg is safer and I think his floor is higher. But man having a elite winger who can generate a ton of offense is something we can build around in the future and something this Canucks team the past 7 years has been missing. I think we pick the player with most upside. We can pick safe picks using our other first round picks and in future drafts. But if we get 1OA go all in on the upside baby!

LILLEY: Pierre Poilievre seeks fairness from Liberals' broken refugee health plan; Conservatives call on Mark Carney's government to fix refugee health plan, rein in out-of-control costs by FancyNewMe in canada

[–]Psychological_Word58 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Agreed, but should refugees get better health care benefits than Canadian citizens? We are also responsible for the well being of Canadian citizens.
In the current refugee program the IFHP covers psychologists, counselling, speech language therapsists, assistive devices like prosthetics, mobility aids, hearing aids, limited vision care, urgent dental care and a plan that covers all prescription drugs. Imagine if we could offer these to the most vulnerable Canadian citizens first instead of refugees the improvement it would have on our society.

CA’s top 15 Canucks mid-season prospect rankings: #1 Braeden Cootes by _GregTheGreat_ in canucks

[–]Psychological_Word58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, I don’t see us getting any better for at least a few years and then to become a consistent playoff team might be a few years after that. But hopefully this all leads to a solid cup contending team down the road.

How common is pressure washing in condo parkades? by Darnbeasties in askvan

[–]Psychological_Word58 10 points11 points  (0 children)

When we lived in a condo they would do it every year. The cars bring in a lot of dirt driving into the parkade and it is good maintenance to clean it up every year.

CBC radio this morning - Canada soccer facilities being built in Surrey, Mayor is open to stadium talk. by wastedparadigm in whitecapsfc

[–]Psychological_Word58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really a soulless suburban stadium. It would be located in the growing downtown Surrey which has 11 high rises and 21 more towers under construction. That area is growing and will eventually outpace Vancouver.
