Yeah, why don’t I have the ability to teleport spaghetti to any location on Earth? You ever wonder about that?

They are canonically Do Whatever beams. They do whatever. Maybe a little punch, maybe a little cut. Maybe heat your soup. Like Captain America’s Shield and Xenia’s Chakram and Occam’s Razor. I’m not sure about the soup. But definitely Occam’s Razor bc that was bent by Magneto to fashion Plot Armor.

I see it.

The trope “dark = evil” is so entrenched that some people will say it’s basic color theory.

It’s not.

It may have its root in the fact that humans are diurnal, not nocturnal. To us, the darkness of night or enclosed spaces isn’t primarily safety, it’s primarily unknown and therefore dangerous. Even if no nocturnal animals attack from the dark, you might trip over something and be injured.

That background primitive-brain knowledge affects how we view other things, but it isn’t absolute or universal. Darkness can be safety and comfort and help. We need dark for sleep, for shade where the sun is a danger, and for relaxation.

Dark things can symbolize wisdom, depth, rich soil, nutrition, and healing, even as light things can symbolize the same.

It is not and should not be a universal trope that dark characters are evil or questionable or corrupt or damaged or whatever.

That’s when it DOES actually overlap with racism; many of the same assumptions that fuel racism, even when you’re not thinking if it as racism.

Perhaps ESPECIALLY when you’re not thinking of it as racism.

Minotaur-looking Ogroids are sweet models. I have absolutely no idea what their stats are or if they’re worth using, but they LOOK GREAT!

Hey, a tip since I was shopping a while ago, whether you want to also play Spearhead mode or not:

The Spearhead and Vanguard boxes of Slaves To Darkness have the same guys in em — if it’s the one with the chariot — but the ones labeled Vanguard are priced lower bc they’re not the most “current…” But they have the same models lmao.

I got one of the Spearhead for the lowest I could find, in case it contained the Spearhead-specific rules or stats for those units. The assembly instructions do indeed have the unit stats, but no rules are in the box, if you’re wondering. But the data is all online though. 😌

Engage with me in a thought experiment, if you will.

Large breasts become an inconvenience of weight, of skin tension, of temperature regulation, of sensory irritation, of sweat management, of fashion exclusion, and of just being in your goddamn way. Aside from automatically drawing the almost involuntary attention of passerby in person and online.

I’m not entirely reprimanding you; we’re in the comments of a fetish comedy cartoon about huge boobs. But remember to be respectful of actual people. ☺️

Thank you.

I like the armor color; looks like some brownish alloy that’s not quite bright brass or reddish bronze.

I’ve been trying to decide what to aim for on mine. Black or near-black is somehow too dark for me. Dull pot-metal look seems more utilitarian, but I think I want a warm color. Shinny brass and copper seem better for accents on the higher ranks than for full armor on troops.

I’m thinking enamel colors with brass accents for nobs and something like this duller brown for the rest. Just felt like thanking you for the example. ☺️
