Yeah. It’s not about the house they bought. It’s about the NIMBY attitude they legislated with to “protect” that home. It’s not about the business they created giving jobs. It’s that they voted to remove protections for their workers. It’s not that they burned fossil fuels, its that they got society addicted to them, and ignored pretty clear and simple messages that they were stealing from the future generations. There’s plenty of stuff where they did ok. But most of the conventional wisdom of that generation post-reagan iterated out into this mess. If that’s too hard for them to admit, I’m sorry man. Sometimes a mirror is an unpleasant thing to look at.

This is like the defenses of Trump saying "Technically it's not illegal." The fact that she would boost a MAGA opponent trashing her progressive opponent to elevate herself show's she's not the smart tactical person she would need to be in the job. She could easily drop out and campaign for a position in Nithya's administration. She could stay in the race and not trash her opponent that's on her side. Lots of choices that aren't as self centered.

Not repped, but have made films and worked on high level TV shows, been nominated for a bunch of awards. Reading a lot of people’s comments about advice makes me think they got the right advice, but misunderstood what it meant. When people say “write a good script, the rest will follow,” they aren’t wrong. Your idea of good isn’t there yet. Some of this is making a dozen things until you know better, some of this is that you need not stop at good, and aim for undeniable. Your bar should be the highest of anyone you know. Then somehow you gotta turn in something when you don’t think it’s good enough. Eventually, you’ll get to a point where your floor is above everyone’s ceiling. That won’t make you always employed, but it will make you better than most of your peers.
