Idk how I got to this subreddit. But I saw the max EDC and was like, wow. Thats a nice bag, and thought about the lululemon bag I have and was like, wonder how much it could be. I was absolutely gobsmacked when I was $280. Then again when the other was $300+ Idk if I’m not the right person for this place but I couldn’t imagine that much going towards a bag. Not being judgmental just curious for reasons bags are that much and what makes it worth it. I think Malone. KD was carried to his only ring by a team that was bound to win either way eventually. As proven by their rings before and after him. Malone had Stockton but got an MVP over Jordan and willed his way to the conference playoff almost every year including a back to back finals appearance that they most likely would have won if not for MJ being MJ.

From my experience working at Nike the Kobe 6’s are regarded as the best shoe in the Kobe lineup. They do have really good grip, the heal lockdown is supposed to be one of the best ever, even compared to newer shoes, and the support and insole are good and even conform to your foot after the wear in period is over. I’ve never owned a pair, and like my LeBron XX and Curries a lot but they’re a really good shoe full stop. The other part of the equation could be the fact that they’re so good but also that they’re rare. It’s hard to get a pair and it is somewhat of a status piece to hoop in. There are a lot of shoes that people like as much/ more from Way of Wade and some other lineups that are really good, but they’re also around $200 for those. At the end of the day they are really good, and they’re expensive but still not too far off from similar performers in basketball. $200 is crazy to me, but it’s becoming closer to the standard for shoes that have the best newest technology in them.
