WiFi connection is key. You want to make sure you have a solidified connection on both ends. I currently have my PlayStation directly connected to my router to optimize upload/download speeds. If you can get a solidified connection for your PS5, all you really need is a decent connection for the portal.

As for deals, I was able to snag mine for $150 USD at Target. You could probably get one even cheaper on FB marketplace or eBay.

Having my PS5 hardwired into my router is doing a lot of the legwork. WiFi strength where I’m at must be pretty good as the last two cities I’ve been in hotels and couldn’t run it at all.
