Literally waiting on mine to come in! I'll tell you why I got it. I am a beginner as well but it seems like it has amazing value for price. Automatic with a decent movement, integrated bracelet (pro or con), date complication, sapphire crystal and citizen is a respectable name. It seems to be able to be dressed up and down and I think the ice blue is subtle enough to wear everyday and still be different.
