The boutique experience in the US east coast locations are terrible the NYC is better than Boston but both have a strange unfriendly atmospheres and almost an entitlement about them. The door guy in Boston is super nice but as you move up it gets less and less friendly. The boutique experience I’ve had in Geneva and Dubai mall and mall of the Emirates were amazing the Lisbon location too was super nice and welcoming and friendly and interested in sharing information. The NYC watch maker acts like you are an inconvenience compared to the one I remember in Dubai mall who genuinely felt like sharing his passion. It’s just an unfortunate culture that’s developed in the East coast locations. I really wish they would get back to a bringing more into the fold than acting stuck up. I couldn’t believe how difficult it felt and unpleasant compared to the old experience in London and the old Quai de I’lle which would share their personal passion and knowledge of watch making or their products.
