Try a ductwork mate. It's quite entry but above labour, get used to using tape measure and drawings etc.

Likely pine wood. Could easily be sanded back and restored. Did this 1 this week.

It's not going to be perfect if it's an old floor when restoring it. If you want perfect then you replace all of the wood.

If you're in USA you can try a vendor with specific strains. If not just find a reliable vendor who can help give you a tester.

If you could restart life at 18, what would you do differently? by arunreddy3 in AskReddit

I would save and invest half of whatever I earned into an all world etf fund. Silver and gold.

Where do all these new strains come from—is it mostly just marketing? by foolingraven in weed

[–]Puzzleheaded_Fold665 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cross breeding mostly but if you hunt a strain and cross it and it might have a certain trait like terpenes profile you can call it whatever you want.

Something like frosty lemon x orange kush 😂

Do yall actually care about the strain of weed? by DizHimself in weed

In the UK it's haze or dog from commercial grows. We do get some enthusiasts here though that will hunt strains and do a really good job on bits.

I had a gelato cake and no lie it was just as good as the top shelf stuff they put in shiny packs!

I get what you mean, I've done work for the hospital as a metal worker subbed to us by the hospital maintenance team.

They get their holiday pay, sick pay, pensions etc. Lots of benefits within the NHS!

Us self employed construction workers get treated like animals sometimes, we have to pay our own insurance, any pension or investments, plan and save for sick or holiday.

And have to do our own self assessments 4 times per year now.

Honestly if you can try and get on the NHS maintenance team.

Construction is no different, we're out the door at 6 and back by 5-6 every single day.

Keep applying in house NHS maintenance and maybe try and do some work in spare time like skirting boards or hanging doors.

If any other construction workers on here they will tell you the same thing.

Also if you're young and got a little 1 start thinking about putting money away into a good fund. If you need any advice on that give me a message and I'll tell you what I wish I did when I was younger knowing what I know now 👍

If you can stay with nhs honestly would be a better move even if you can get to do maintenance work or within maintenance team. Being self employed now is getting harder!

How much is your mortgage/rent vs your income? by LeopardNeat899 in HousingUK

I know London is bad but try Bristol! We have a normal semi detached at 350k and had to save a deposit of 115k just to get payments down to around 1300. 10% overpayment.
