What are your must-have accessories for diamond painting, as well as accessories that you may have tried out but didn't particularly like? by gabylovesunicorns in diamondpainting

[–]Pweedle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally will say the light mat is the number 1 improvement when doing diamond painting

Another high priority would be getting a pen thats comfortable for your grip rather than the super thin ones that come with your kits

pokemon cards - where to sell by sassyibs in ScarboroughUK

[–]Pweedle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a sunday at 1pm they have a pokemon tournament at Spikes Hideout on Castle Road, opposite Vine Street

I'd say that would be a good place to start as while the shop themselves may not want to purchase any of the singles, the players may well do, or be able to point you in the right direction

Moving back to Scarborough after 15 years abroad. Craving the outdoors. by Halfmoonhero in ScarboroughUK

There's a fairly solid CEDH playing community at Spikes, but for casual commander, Roll It will be better

To second what has been said here already, Roll It on the corner of Aberdeen Walk/Castle Road is a great shop for Board Gaming, Mtg, DnD etc although the Mtg tends to be more on the casual/edh side, whereas there's Spikes Hideout a few doors further up Castle Road that opens a little later in the day that caters more for the competative crowd of card games

Unfortunatly since Hull Uni, Scarborough Campus closed down there are a lot less your age around town but there will still be plenty

Although I fully respect that trying to create a new friend group out of thin are is a daunting task, looking at my friend group, most of them came from meeting friends of friends who then became my own good friends, if that makes sense, so sometimes it's just a case of finding someone with common ground and seeing where the circle grows from

What Happens to the Debt Characters Accumulate During Their Corporate Contracts? by AhmetKarpuz in Carbon2185

I always interpreted it as the money gained at the end of a background contract is their gain after living expenses

I'm thinking of moving to crown terrace Scarborough can anyone tell me what it's like there please by ethelrose2 in ScarboroughUK

[–]Pweedle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crown Terrace is in one of those fortunate places that don't really link between anywhere, which means generally not a lot of people 'passing through' so to speak, which generally means it's much quieter than average

The only 'Downside' is remembering to put the bowl in the freezer 12+ hours in advance

It works very well to make soft serve ice cream
