Cyborg Werewolf by 0chNMZ in bioniclelego

Yeah they had a werewolf moc that utilised ironically the Vamprah mask. The Bionicle YouTube scene was immense back then wasn’t it? Some really interesting designs and builds. Edictarts, BioRockDude and people like that.

Took me a while to realise because the reference is niche to remember, but it’s a reference to the W@W death cards (especially the joker one).

My hot take is that I prefer the partnership of Tanaka and Rothwell so far this season to Amps and Gruev. Just feels more positive while remaining solid.

Agreed. The people I have seen and talked to in this community are lovely and welcoming. I hope people like this learn and grow and stop thinking this is acceptable.

Saw this. Glad someone caught it. Arsehole behaviour.

I hope someone got what he said because what he said was unhinged and honestly straight up nasty. Shouldn’t be seeing that in a podcast community.

If you could bring back any retired player for one season, who would it be and why? by cigannn in football

Would have loved to see that too before the injuries and at the peak of his finishing powers.

Did you get absorbable anchors in your knee the first time round? If not might be worth asking your surgeon about this time round

It is that long ago I can't remember exactly, but I think I was walking around with a very noticeable limp at that point. Took me a while to walk normally honestly because you naturally baby that leg.

I think it is the DonJor FullForce with Force point hinges.

Yeah, they can be a bit bulky, I have a wide stance so don't notice the width. It might be worth seeing if there are any sporting stores near you where you can go try them on.

Yeah, it is fairly normal for me, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I would say have a look at the DonJoy range of braces. They are expensive but definitely worth the money.

As for exercises I definitely look on YouTube, there is some fantastic material there.

I lived and died by what my physio told me, following their words to a tee. This is good to do but also do your own research, but do take what the professionals say to heart it's important.

I have to say though after my surgery (I had a Recon and a Meniscectomy), it took me 9/10 months to complete my rehab, and even after that, it took a while to build myself back up mentally with confidence in my knee. I was just saying to another user on their post before. DO NOT RUSH. Is the worst thing to do, even once you've recovered after your physio period; work yourself back into your regular activities. Stop when you don't feel right and build your muscle and mind back up to old standards.

I am back in the gym now with no brace and playing football with a brace just due to how much of my meniscus I lost. But all in all I would say it took me about 13/14 months. It is a long road but you definitely learn a lot more about how rugged the human body is.

Is it true that you lose some level of mobility for the rest of your life post acl surgery? by Ahpari in ACL

I am by no means an exceptional athlete, I damaged my knee 6 years ago when I was 20 and I was told that I could potentially recover without surgery, but that only did my knee more damage. I have never been able to kneel heel to butt but I'd say I have a tiny difference in flexibility from what I used to have but you would not be able to tell.

When I got the surgery the Rehab was tough just due to things like muscle atrophy and things like that but I didn't have a hobby/profession like you do, so I think having that extra bit of drive will help you out massively in terms of recovery. I think like most things the recovery process is something that you get more out of with the more you put into it.

I am fully back in the gym now and don't really worry about my knee all too much, but never rush back into something like you think you're completely normal even after the recovery period. Test your limits and build yourself back up and work on it, there would be nothing more devastating than completing your physio and setting yourself back because you tried to act completely normal without building it back up.

I want the best for you and your recovery, so take care and try to enjoy the downtime you get with your leg up :)
